  • Need a new place to entertain clients

I work extensive hours in the industry I am in and it is mostly keeping clients happy. A few times a year I take a handful of them to Las Vegas as a thank you and also use it as an excuse to get some well deserved time to let loose and enjoy the spoils of my hard work.

Now without mentioning any names because that is just tacky and childish, my "go to spot" that we always visit numerous times on these trips has been subpar at best the last few trips. We never hesitate to spend money and more than fair amounts. I am not asking to get the Usher treatment (I've been at a table next to him a few times and ya, I don't expect it seriously) but I would like a few suggestions of places that I know would not let down someone who considers themselves a client. We never complain about pricing, we never complain period. We always have a strong mix of male/female groups and everyone prefers bottle service. If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to let me know. I have always been a loyalist to this one place but sometimes you just need to let go and venture out. I just want my clients and I to have a great time and the service they deserve for the money they are willing to part with.

My next trip is coming soon, and am actually looking to make a great impression with some long time clients that I also consider great friends at this point. Please feel free to also contact me by private email if you have any great little tips, if possible I'll take you out for a night for helping me out. Thanks for your time.

Appreciate it Mikey. I am still waiting on a final count by the end of the work day today then I will have to make a decision. Most likely based on how big a crowd I have with me and where I feel they will be happiest to spend a weekend.

Can you be a little more specific on how your current go-to venue is letting you down? Service? Table location? Responsiveness? Etc...?

Sure I can. Over the last few trips confusion mostly, with no apparent sense of urgency to fix the situation. The host I had been in contact with for some time before the trip would not be at the actual location we were going to when they said they would, which in turn caused major confusion and us standing at the door for the first hour. We never requested any particular table, but they knew we enjoyed to be able to be part of the mix without being danced on by a group of 25 people. As for service, usually alright in the club. We are big tippers and aren't afraid to order another bottle. So usually it is good other than the last visit when it was awful and not to get into every little thing that went wrong but the one that lost me my patience was half way through the night we left because the waitress was literally demanding of a client’s wife she buy another bottle when we were on our 3rd or 4th bottle already? I was stopped by someone at the door to apologize for that though and was told "she is new" which is fine, but none the less, is still unacceptable to me. Like I have said, I don't expect royal treatment but when I make arrangements and am paying for the service I want the service the way it was promised to me. Over the last few months it has just become less and less noticeable the taking accountability is any bit of a priority there.

The last thing I will say I am most disappointed with is that I would call and make my plans and they would be happy I was coming, because I know we aren't filling a quota or anything, but we do spend money and never cause problems. I would keep telling myself, "ok, this time will be better" and to no surprise after a few times it ever was. Only got more frustrating and less hospitable. To sum it up, it was never any 1 thing that made me walk away, but lots of "I'm so sorry" from them that never seemed to stop coming. I don't really demand anything but in my opinion, "I'm sorry" shouldn't be something you ever have to repeat to a paying customer. Especially one who wants to give you business after having to hear it once already.

None of that is acceptable, especially if you're spending that kind of money and a repeat customer.

Good thing about Vegas is there are plenty of options, so I don't think you'll have a hard time finding a suitable replacement.

Ya I already feel great about being part of this community now. Mikey was quick to lend his assistance and whatever we decide it looks like all the hosts here are truely dedicated to not only the club they work for the but the customers as well. Now just need to decide. It's been awhile since I had to actually figure out where my Friday and Saturday nights in Vegas are going to be spent.
