as of now, the sports book at the cosmopolitan is a couple windows that you can place bets at. Not the typical full sports book most casinos have.
Apparently, Cantor gaming (runs Hard Rock sports book now) is contracted to install a full sports book with the latest in play-by-play betting technology.
Does anyone have the skinny on when this is to be completed? I can't get a straight answer from anyone at the resort.

This could affect our decision to stay here for March Madness.

    Thanks

I was just there and did not notice much of a sports book at all, it seemed small. However over at Aria they have a great sports book with by far the best and clearest HD screens I have seen so far in any sports book I have been in. It was not huge but the quality of the big screens was amazing. Not sure if that helps but it is not a far walk from the Cosmo.

Anything new on the book? Is it fully functional?

Aside from being affected by the pipe burst at the sushi place (it's supposedly reopening this weekend), I think it's fully functional, albeit much smaller than most casino sports books. This link has some details and a couple pictures - http://www.dgschwartz.com/2011/03/08...w-sports-book/
