Newbies coming in for MDW and Fights from Calgary
Hello everyone, I've been checking out the site for a couple of weeks and have been having a great time reading the stories and info that everyone is sharing.
My buddy and I are coming into Vegas on May 25th to the 30th, for the fights so I started to plan early. It's the first time to Vegas for both of us, we are staying at MGM Grand and we were hoping to have a ripper of a time. After I started researching I realized that it was also MDW and it sounds like Vegas gets crazy. Even though we are both in our mid 30's, I am hoping to spend most of the week in some state of inebriation with loud music, girls and general rowdiness.
I have a few plans for clubs, pools, gambling and shows but if anyone can suggest anything extra I can make changes or plans easily. I am looking for a good club to hit up after the fights, especially if it is hosting a party with some of the fighters. I've been looking into getting a table at a club with bottle service but unless we get someone to join us it doesn't seem reasonable. I am sure that we could get some girls to join us though. Either way, I am looking at XS, Surrender and Tryst as well as checking out all of the clubs at the Palms. I obviously can't get to all of them but I do have a lot of options. Friday night is taken with a visit to the House of Blues and Saturday is busy until the fights are done. I was considering Wet Republic for Sunday.
We also want to spend some time checking out the strip, gambling, doing some shopping, hanging at the pool and maybe hitting up a strip club. I plan on very little sleep but realize that I can't go balls-to-the-wall for the whole time too. I am expecting to drop a couple grand, easy, during the weekend but I'm still a working guy. In other words I expect to spend money but it can't be ridiculous.
Any suggestions would be great
