help with birthday plans!

I had a few questions about plans for my 21st birthday!

1. Where to go?!? We will be arriving on Saturday, April 2nd and staying only one more night on Sunday, April 3rd. We are on a fairly tight budget and won't be splurging on any tables based on the prices I have seen. There will be two locals with my group (one male, one female). As a complete group it is tentatively 4-5 females and 5 males. One of the females may also be celebrating her 21st.

2. Should we keep the 21st birthdays discreet or can we use it to our advantage as far as getting into clubs? I am assuming we don't want to brag about being newbs when it comes to the nightlife scene in vegas, but at the same time if there is any special treatment at all I'd like to get in on it, so I figured I would ask.

3. Quite frankly, is there any hope for getting a couple 'bigger' guys into the clubs? there are a couple overweight guys in our group and a couple girls that aren't exactly model size either. They all dress up super nice though, and I simply can't celebrate without them! I am just fairly worried about the group ratio - I need some more hot bitches in my group!

I wouldn't worry about the "bigger" guys and gals, if you dress well and rock it like it's no big deal it won't matter. Nobody is going to turn people away because they are "overweight. I have a buddy who is 6'5" and around 400lbs...never had an issue gettin in the clubs with him, he dresses really well and doesn't try to be a 400lb guy with 200lb guy clothes...make sense?

As far as where to go, have any of your group, outside of the locals been clubbing there before? And with the locals, are they clubbers or do they shy away from the strip for the most part?

My friends have been before, but only once or twice. I think they've gone to the voodoo lounge before, but not right on the strip or the clubs that really interest me. As far as the locals go, they are either newly 21 or just moved there, so they have no experience yet. My friend who lives there is totally into electronic music. She is a fire spinner, so she knows of some smaller stuff to visit, but not down on the strip.

So far, (thanks to the great resources on this website!) I think I am going to try LAX or XS or Studio 54 (which looks pretty interesting) on Saturday. and Sunday, I was thinking The Bank.
