planning trip march 5th to 8th

can anyone tell me what the hot spots for the progressive house genre would be.Im getting to vegas on march 5th saturday I have the tiesto concert booked already at the joint
im looking for two spots for the 6th sunday and 7th monday?
any help would be greatly appreciated kindly thanks .

ooh Sunday/Monday, I would have to say try XS on Sun and Marquee on Mon. XS is kind of a crapshoot, but they have been bringing in some house music guests lately. Their regular music is more of a mixed top 40 with a little bit of electro house.

Have fun at Tiesto, and keep in mind that after his concert at the joint, Vanity will be doing afterhours with Cedric Gervais. The last few times we've stayed open until about 8am, and Tiesto has come over to spin for an hour or two at each one (not saying he will this time, but in the past he has hopped into the booth for a while)

Questions on Vanity for u. Is it a new afterhours spot? I was there twice last year and loved it. One of the nights was a thursday for progressive house night. Is that still going on? I thought I may have seen on website it wasnt.

Question for u on Surrender. Now I have been to XS a couple times....is Surrender considered the outside pool part?? Or is Surrender in Encore and XS is Wynn? How do they differ? And is Aoki there once a month roughly for a while?

I am plotting my plan of atack already!

Yessir.. night time.. Surrender is the outside part at night as well.. the actual inside part is more of a VIP area...

XS is in the hall between Encore and Wynn.. and is considered in the Encore..

Surrender is mainly outdoors.. (covered up in the winter)

XS is mainly indoors...

Both very different.. even run by 2 different companies!

Vanity is normally open during regular nightclub hours, but every month or so we do a special after hours night when Tiesto is in town for his monthly concert at The Joint. We also do them for other big events, such as when we had Deadmau5 do his special performance at Body English, and when we had Swedish House Mafia at The Joint over Halloween. We did recently end our Thursday night house music nights at Vanity, we are currently open only fri-sun nights. This Saturday should be a lot of fun, hope you can make it over after you see Tiesto

Had I been there for Deadmau5 I would have spontaneously combusted I woulda been so excited. Tiesto and Swedish House Mafia to. I will be there in early June so ill keep an eye out for whats going on.

I wish I lived closer. If I lived even like a 10-12 hour drive from Vegas Id go at least once a month for a day. Leave at 6am on a saturday or something.

I'm sure you don't want to experience the 12hr drive with barely any sleep and still drunk/hungover from night before, I've done it before and will never ever do it again.

well no matter what its gonna suck leaving. still, i have a 4 hour flight plus the going through security(trying to act normal) then waiting for flight etc. id rather drive with a friend ideally. But yes once u get past 5-6 hours its a bitch for sure.
