I know we have a lot of BayAreans here...

A really good guy friend of mine has a birthday at the end of this month (the big 3-0). We want to have a big group of us spend the night in the city and go to a few clubs.

We are in the North Bay, so its been a while since we have ventured to the clubs in SF, and it seems like the places considered the *best* change all the time!

Any recommendations? thanks

For SF Clubs, you can go to Infusion, Manor West, Ruby Skye, Slide, SLOANE SQUARE"D", The Parlor, FLUID, SupperClub, CIRCA, Noble, Vessel, Harlot, Temple and ROE.

Ruby Skye, Supperclub, and Vessel play House Music, so if you're into that then those are the best places for that. If you want Top40/Mash-Ups/HipHop then check out the other clubs I mentioned. Hope that helps, if you got any question shoot me a PM.

Actually just found the address, lol. From the looks of it, I think it will be more of a lounge then nightclub. It's going to be located at 685 3rd St, above the Spire Restaurant.

Good choices. Saturdays, are the best days to be at those 2 locations.

SO, my friend is thinking Temple...I went to read reviews and found out someone got KILLED there like a month ago...

What do you think? Was that an isolated incident or is that place Ghetto? Also, it sounds like its alot of house music there, is that true?

I mean, its my friends birthday so I will go where ever, but I dont want to be dancing to Techno all night and then get shanked...

I haven't been to Temple in a very long time but from what I remember they got 3 different rooms, and I think the main room is all house. Yea, there was a fight a couple months back and someone got killed but it is the only incident I can recall. The crowd can be good and bad, but that is why I don't go there. I really think you're friend will enjoy Manor West much more than Temple.
