    Hey peoples

A small group of us will be coming over from Australia to Vegas in early July this year. Having never been to Vegas before I was wondering if there is any information on which clubs play certain music? I can see club reviews on this site but it doesn't really mention what kind of music each club plays.

We kinda want to avoid R+B and hip-hop etc Our group loves Electro, House and Trance so we would be keen to check out any clubs play this.

Also, we don't really have 'table serviced' clubs here in Aus. You pretty much just walk in and buy a drink at the bar and then just stand around or dance etc Anyway, can someone please give a brief description on what the 'table service' covers? I assume it gives you a dedicated area to sit down and to share a bottle of vodka or something like that?? If you get up to dance etc is the table reservered for you? Is it worth paying the extra for?

Anyway, I would appreciate any advice or guidance you can offer.

    Thanks / Jason

The EDM music scene is pretty HOT right now in Vegas. Majority of the clubs that you will go into will play 70% if not more of EDM during the night. BUT if you want to be at clubs that just play EDM, your sure bets are Marquee, Rain, Surrender, or Drais and Artisan for afterhours.

Regarding table/bottle service is it's pretty much you are paying for real estate. You buy a bottle of your choice and it comes with a seating area. There are great benefits to that because, 1) If the dance floor is packed you don't have to be smooshed like a sardine, you party in your area which is only for your group 2) When you are tired you can rest and relax on the couches 3) Your chances of hooking up with someone are much greater, etc.

Yeah, completely agree, you really won't be immersed in Rap/Hip-Hop...and even most of that stuff is re-mixed into some EDM style music. Hopefully you'll be having such a good time in the club you won't be paying much attention to the actual music and more the beat being thrown down.

Table Service, if you can drop, the coin is definitely worth it. Most clubs are stupid crowded and you end up fighting for a place to hang when you need it. If your group is big enough or bold enough to gather some new friends go for it, you'll be happy you did. I usually plan on Bottle Service at least one night while in Vegas to guarantee a night to remember.

great thanks for the reply guys.

Our group is only fairly small (2 girls and 3 guys). Is this too small to warrant getting a table?

For us it's really all about the music. 2 of us are DJ's here in Aus so we all have a real strong following for various DJ's around the globe. Our preference is DJ first club 2nd. Therefore we would prefer to choose the DJ that we want to see before the club that we want to go to. I hope that makes sense??

Do you know of any websites which show which DJ's are playing in which clubs? For example, it would be nice to know if Tiesto is playing at ____ and Deadmau5 is playing at ____ and Calvin Haris is playing at ____ and so on. Is there anywhere on the net which has this information collated so we know which clubs we want to go to?

        Thanks again / Jas

5ppl is not small to warrant a table. However there are certain bottle minimums that would need be purchased in order to get certain table location.

Marquee has some of the best DJ's who are residents. Kaskade, Eric Morillo, Dirty South, ATB, Chuckie etc. Surrender has Afrojack, Calvin Harris. Tiesto has a residency that is 1x at a month at The Joint in the Hard Rock. Best thing to do is go on the clubs website and look at the events calendar to see who is spinning on certain date.

If you are looking for BS, maybe contact the host a 2weeks prior to see what kind of deal they can get you. After, you reserve your table, check-in with the host 3-5 days before trip to see if he/she has you booked. Then confirm with them on day off going to that club that your reservation is set.
