First off this won't be as crazy a trip report as some but maybe it will help when guys like me are looking for some ideas for taking their significant other on a trip to VEGAS.....
Thursday the 17th we got to vegas and checked into the Venetian... I made a last minute audible from originally staying at a suite at the MGM....boy did i hit the jackpot on that move... A $20.00 sandwich landed me a beautiful strip view and my wife loved it......... +1 for me......
had dinner reservations at Olives and we managed a table right against the railing on the terrace beautiful view of the fountains and the food was amazing..........another + for me.
we bought all access bands for TAO and LAVO for the weekend so we hit up TAO around 11:00 walked right in.....it was bad ass it's been awhile since me and my wife had partied so she was tired around 2 which was fine cause it was really getting packed in there. also gave me a chance to gamble a little
18th here is where it goes down hill......i heard so many good things about Serendipity 3 at Ceasers so we went to have lunch we got a table outside right on the strip. really nice except for the fact my wife got sick and pretty much threw up all day it was DEFINATLEY THE FOOD she had been fine to that point and it hit her literally about 30 min after we left....she managed to pull it together for a couple of hours because we had tickets to ZUMANITY......(which was hilarious) we were suppose to hit up ghost bar which is what she had wanted to do but instead had to go back to the room and she was out for the night. once she was asleep........i got to hit the tables
19th she was feeling a little better but not 100% so unfortunatley no drinking for her which killed it because i had a bottle of wine i bought her and a bottle of Belvedere that needed drinking......today she had her spa day at the Hard Rock (THANKS TO THE GREAT INFO BCBunni GAVE ME )she absolutley loved it, then we hit up KA at the MGM which was ok not as good as i thought it was going to be ( i should of done "O") right after that we hit up LAVO around 12:00 i had a couple of drinks but i could tell she wasn't up to it so we left at about 1:30 but from the little bit we were there it was really a good time and good crowd.....the bands worked perfect walked up and straight in.......
20th had early dinner reservations at LAVO the food was really good alot better than i expected.......then we headed over to TI to watch Mystere (this show was amazing but alot of kids and different atmosphere it was alot better than KA which surprised me since KA was my choice and the one that i that was going to be the best out of the 3 shows we saw) after that we headed over for a couple of drinks at LAVO again then back to the hotel to lose some more money.
21st flying back home and talking about when we are coming back!!!
If i were to do it again i would take KA off the list and hit up "O" and definatley ZUMANITY again for couples. club wise i'd do LAVO if you haven't partied in a while it is nice TAO was bad ass but super packed.......
Once again thanks for all the advice and suggestions i recieved from peeps on this forum. besides my wife getting sick i think i was able to give her a great first trip to VEGAS.....
