  • 3 day holiday weekends

I am planning my Vegas Summer Blowout and had a few questions about Summer holiday 3 day weekends.

    1) On one of these 3 day weekends ie (Memorial, 4th or Labor) what is the best day for arrival and departure. I usually arrive on Thursday(afternoon) and depart Monday (AM)... Should I change this because of a 3 day holiday weekend that falls on Monday... The other two options that i'm considering are arriving on Friday and departing on Tuesday or going for a 5 day blowout where I arrive on Thursday and depart on Tuesday.

    2) I know that these weekends are considerably more packed and I am curious how this affects access to nightclubs and pools. I'd also be interested in bottle minimums? Can I still reserve a table with only two bottles.

    3) Is there a different vibe over these summer three day holiday weekends? I would assume yes, but I'd like to hear some first hand accounts.

    4) Does the city experience any tourism hangover like less people on the weekends before and after the holiday weekends.

Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

Well just to answer the 1st question. I say go for the Gusto with the 5-day blow out. More is better...

Can't answer anything else but that I can for sure haha

As far as I can tell the 5th day doesn't cost any more for the room and the flight is actually cheeper, so the 5th Day does seem to be the way to go... Im assuming that thursday and monday nights will be worth it...

Most clubs will have a surcharge of $100+ per bottle. The mins will be higher too depending on the tier level of the club. Lines will definitely be longer. If your on a budget, hit the tier 1 clubs others night besides sat.

As for #4, I was there the weekend before Memorial Day and also the weekend after Labor Day, and it absolutely was not a ghost town. Obviously, it's not as busy as the actual holiday weekends, but it looked just like any other weekend in Vegas.

i guarantee you the weekend before memorial day will be anything but dead. Memorial day weekend vegas will actually be having the hangover from our invasion.

3 day weekends are definitely busier at all the places in town, and for the most part, the minimums are higher anywhere you go. there's no surcharges per bottle that i've ever seen, but the minimums for tables and cabanas are definitely going to be higher than other weekends. 2 bottles may still get you a spot somewhere, but it will be in a less desirable location than you'd get possibly on a normal weekend. throughout the summer, vegas is always busy, so unless you're a local working in the industry, it'll still look busy anywhere you go, and you won't be able to tell that there's any 'hangover' effect from the big 3 day weekend if you were to come the week after
