  • Yet another bachelor party post...

This is a tired topic of course, but to the best friends of the groom-to-be, the importance of this trip is huge. I had my bachelor party in Vegas 6 years ago and now I get to return the favor for my best friend. Here's my issue, in the midst of what I would describe as financially lean times for many, we were only able to round up four gents for the final weekend of debauchery. That being said, I still think we'll have a memorable trip to provide a few years worth of good stories.

I've tried and tried to organize my group for bottle service at a major club and like most guy getaways, I can't get anyone to commit to anything. So...what would you recommend for a best bang for the buck, last minute impromptu nightlife scenario? Do we stake out one of the top clubs and grease the bouncer to get in or do we relegate ourselves to less happening locales like rum jungle or rain. In my day Coyotte Ugly was still pretty cool if that's any indication of how long it has been.

We have suites at the signature so we're looking at wet republic for daytime activities. Is it worth it or is the regular pool at the MGM just as good for a day of recovery?

Thanks for your wisdom and suggestions!

My cousin just came back from a bachelor party, he said the tripped completely sucked because the best man had no game plan and everybody sat around and asked "so what do you want to , I don't know what do you want to do" they even
Let a bell hop talk them into going to a really raunchey strip club. I would say have a game plan and put the options/atractions in your iPhone or PDA for each hotel you plan on visiting. There will be times that you guys will draw a blank and have no clue what to do so poor choices can be made along with wasting valuable time. I would also
Suggest not getting so damn aniahlated rom the in room liquor that you end up babysitting or cleaning up puke for one of your buddies. There's always someone who
    Is a buzzkill.

I would pick 2 or 3 "must do's" on this trip, figure out what it will cost and let the group know that this is for the groom so come out of the pocket, they will have a good time too. Some suggestions on a budget.

Dnix let us know that you can arrange free limo service and cover charge to the spearmint rhino by calling them

    Hit carnival court bar
    Play beer pong at o'sheas
Buy a all access wrist band for the palms clubs
Stock your room with booze and water from the local liquor store
Get club passes and get in line early at whatever club you decide to go to, line by 10pm you should be good to go.

Warn your party not to blow all your money the first hour your in vegas , this happen to my cousins friend, he was a complete downer the rest of the trip.
    Appreciate Vegas
    Next Trip 4/26!

very very good advice: first off; 4 guys for a bachelor is the best thing that ever happened and you just dont realize it, next take irocks advice to a T!! dont go nuts and pace yourself and I would def do wet republic, and I would absolutely get a table for one night just so if there are any downers you have at least one guarantee and im sure it will be the highlight if the bachelor party for years to come.
it's that time again, let's get #28 gentleman....for the boss

Definitely agree on the not blowing all your money advice. Recommend to everyone that they keep like a $250-$500 reserve fund in the in-room safe that they don't touch unless they are retards and get drunk and blow all their money.

More or less one of my first Vegas trips I was pretty much broke, only brought $1000 with me for 4 days, and I ended up losing all but like $35 and a nickel my first night there. I was so fucking bored the next day that I ended up leaving early, just because I felt bad for my friends who kept trying to include me but I knew I was killing their plans.

So now I always keep about $500 in the safe. That way if I gamble away what I brought for the weekend, I still have enough for most of the non-gambling activities.

Yeah, definitely agree that you should do the table service. With only four guys you're not looking at a very high bottle minimum, probably only 2 bottles, so altogether it'll only be about $250 each, or $325 each if you don't make the groom pay.

Or, I can definitely second the recommendation for the Palms clubs. I'll almost always spend one night guest listed at Moon just because it's so easy to get around between the different clubs there, and there's obviously different girls and different people in each club soo...

Thanks for all the info! Good stuff.

I'm thinking we'll get wristbands at the Palms for one night. I had considered the open bar thing with the wrist bands, but I'm not sure everyone wants to drink vodka all night long and we'd be limited to rain for the all inclusive booze.

I'm thinking that Tao might be a good spot for dinner and then bottle service one night based on all the posts I've read.

The posts about losing your wad of cash the first day definitely resonate.

At my bachelor party we were all just out of college and some of the guys were loaded with student debt and just entering the work force. We checked into our hotel and went to the casino to hang out while we waited for the rest of our group to arrive. One of my buddies loses 300 bucks in maybe 10 minutes at the tables and proceeds to tell everyone how he can't lose that kind of money because he's broke, has student debt, needs money for grad schools, rent, blah blah blah. Needless to say, it killed the mood for the rest of us. We ultimately ended up having a great time, but it was a terrible start.

One more questions that I couldn't find an answer to trolling through the forum. Is there a costco or large grocery store near the airport/strip that we could visit to buy booz for the room?

The biggest factor in any bachelor party is...

                  (or for any event)...a budget.

Figure out what people can afford and take it from there.

                    Bachelor party

We were really working hard to find a means of catching the attention of one and all during the bachelor's party we attended recently. The idea was to wear Pokers T shirt which we bought from the website http://www.greenturtle.com/Bikers/Poker-T-Shirt-1048/ recently. The shirts were awesome with bright colors, designs and quality. That also saved us a lot of money as they were priced quite reasonably.
