  • Cosmopolitan Tables

    Hi Guys,

Bit curious as to all things Cosmopolitan as I'm due to stay there in June and am hoping for a few answers from al my JC'ers.

    What's the Casino floors like?

What are the table limits like for Blackjack and Roulette? Both low and high.

What's the waitress table service like?

    Cheers

gambling floor is ok its not too big. Plenty of blackjack tables, but not enough paigow or baccarat. Daytime minimums are the same as venetian, encore, or wynn. Night time the minimums are high. Double deck blackjack is $100 minimum, baccarat is $100 minimum, and I think regular blackjack is $25. Roulette is also $25 minimum. High limit is the same as other casinos with $200 minimums on most tables. Few black jack tables were at $1000 minimum. Hotel is nice, but I'm not gambling there anymore. They took 10k from me in 2 hrs. Cocktails were pretty fast. Although I don't drink, cocktail waitress checked up on me every 10 minutes.

The cocktail waitresses are some of the hottest I've seen.

cosmo doesn't have a sports book at the moment. it's something they're working on i've been told. there's a little window tucked away that you can place bets at, but no sports book lounge area like at every other hotel on the strip. as far as the table mins go, it depends on the day and time, and how busy the place is, just as any other place. you can find 10 bj tables during the day or late at night, and if it's slow, you can find 10-15 mins on bj during peak hours. it truly depends on how busy it is at the time. if all the tables are full, they'll bump up the mins, as any good casino manager would. if it's fairly busy, quarters are the lowest you'll be able to find on the floor

They are linked to Marriott. Apparently all dollars spent at the Cosmo (food, spa services, etc.) count towards comps.
As I was told, "we like to take into account all the money you spend at our hotel, not just how much you spend at the tables".

In theory it's great - MGMs M-Life jumped on the train - but it's been nothing but a mess having my dollars tracked properly. The sportsbook there should only be used to place bets it's the size of a closet compared to others.
