  • Palms Wristbands: no hosted bar at Moon?

So I was planning on getting wristbands for a hosted bar at Moon on a Saturday in a few weeks. I sent an e-mail to one of the customer service links on the Palms Wantickets site and was told that, even though admission is given to Moon and Playboy Club there is actually only a hosted bar at Playboy Club. I was told it's "very easy to move between the clubs," but I don't want to spend that money only to find that I'm stuck standing around a high priced casino with older guys and forced to shuttle drinks back and forth to Moon (or worse yet, forced to drink in Playboy Club and buy drinks in Moon). Has anyone gotten this specific wristband? How was it? If not, does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives? I was hoping to avoid Perfecto Vegas since some of the guys aren't the biggest house fans but this twist has me second-guessing myself.

Dunno... you'll likely spend most of your time in playboy club to maximize your open bar. Although, yes it's relatively easy to move between the clubs since they are above each other (actually it's super easy to go up to moon, but less easy to go back down to playboy... at least it was for me). I do disagree with classifying playboy as being high priced casino with old guys. From my times there the crowd was still fun and not a bunch of old guys lol. BUT yes Moon is the more clubby atmosphere.

Go with the Hosted Bar at Playboy Club... by "Very Easy", they mean "VERY EASY". You go down a short escalator from Moon and are directly in front of the bar where you get drinks. Not only that, but the drink lines are much shorter at Playboy Club than at Moon.

Tip your Bartender on the first go-around, and he/she will make sure you don't wait more than 30 seconds for a refill.

And yes, you can bring your drinks with you between Playboy Club and Moon... heck, if you want to you can bring your drink with you from Playboy Club to Rain, or Ghostbar... or the Rio... or Caesar's... or Bellagio... well, you get the point.

        Easy

It is quite easy to move between Moon and Playboy Club. If it was Ghostbar, that would be a cause for concern. (Ghostbar is on top of the old palms tower.)

Also next time (or if you still have time) try contacting N9NE Group directly, they manage all the club venues at the Palms.

Thanks for the advice. It sounds like this won't be as big of an issue as I first thought. The hosted bar does start early though (10pm), I guess because Playboy opens earlier. Should we expect it to be pretty empty for the first part of the open bar then?

              Wondering this as well..

I've always been skeptical of the palms because i figured a large volume of people wouldn't want to make the effort for somewhere off the strip. However I am getting a opposite perspective, makes me almost willing enough to take a chance the next time i go
