Hey everyone, i've been busy and haven't been around much, but I wanted to share what's going on with me. I'm actually moving down to Brazil to train brazilian jiu jitsu for a few months, and have some other trips in the works (Thailand to name one). Unfortunately I won't be able to make May AOD this summer (and it's on my birthday ) but it's because i'll be in Rio de Janeiro. I hope to see some of you later this fall though!

Thanks guys. I pretty much gave up everything to do this. Pretty big risk, but I had to give it a go. I appreciate the support. And yeah G, I don't have much room to complain about not making it in May. I get back May 25th too.. so close.

You should have came out to Baltimore the other weekend. Was a WILD time! I know it was short notice though

Edit to add: Did I mention Carnival is during my first two weeks there?

And Cisco do you really have to ask? Us two together it's always going to be ridiculous. Haha. It was wild, definitely was feeling the east coast. I have some flip footage if I ever get around to putting it together i'll shoot it out.

Thanks man! I'm sure i'll be getting choked out much more than being the one doing the choking. Thailand is the next trip planned after I return from Brazil. I need to up my cardio game before I go there. I guess it's pretty ridiculous. The plan is ground game for a few months in Brazil, standup for a few months in Thailand, get beat up in an MMA fight.

Thanks man! It is the best training in the world for brazilian jiu jitsu, and i'm at the best gym in Rio!

Carnaval was a total mess. By mess, I mean multiple day bender that never ended. It literally beat me. I had to stop two days short, it was crazy. If you consider yourself a serious partier (which most on this forum do I think) you have to make the trip for Carnaval.
