An awesome Thursday without a mega club ?

Hi all,

I know that Tao, Tryst, Haze are all good fun on a Thursday, however I would like your opinions on a itinerary. We are 6 guys from the UK.

Where would you go if you wanted to party on a Thursday night from say 8:00pm til the early hours of Friday morning, but didn't want to go to any of the mega clubs ?

Are there bars/lounges that are always very busy and with a great party vibe on a Thursday that you could hop between ?

I will be hitting XS on the Friday, just like the idea of seeing if we can have a wild night on the Thursday without a mega club.

A good % of the ladies tend to flow to those places.

That Venetian/ Wynn collective is a haven for well dressed and good looking women. (hence part of the reason I stay at the Palazzo)

I have had good times at some clubs that were not "mega". JET and 54 can still be a good time.

You can try hitting some sports bars like the ESPN zone or Blondies.

O Shea's can be fun.

Everyone on this board talks about carnival court all the time. Try it out.

Avoid Coyote Ugly. I have been there twice and both times it sucked worse than a trip to the dentist.

Double Down can be fun but I have not been to the Rio in a while so recent experiences are somewhat lacking.


You could go to the strip clubs...... Not my favorite option but maybe thats an option for you.

You can always head over to old town, hit up the penny casinos and get drunk on cheap booze.

My favorite bar is, hands down, Ghostbar. I highly recommend it. Not a mega club but it has a great view and the music and crowd are usually some of the best in Vegas.

or you could just set out from your hotel room after a generous amount of pregaming and "follow your feet" so to speak.

Vegas has a lot to offer. If you are an energetic, fun-loving group of guys who smile and laugh a lot, you will be surprised how often the good times find you.

Smiles and laughter attract women almost as well as a diamond tennis bracelet. Almost.....

It's vegas... there are always people partying everywhere.

We've spent several nights having great times in bars/lounges in Vegas that weren't major clubs. Depending on what time of year you go (not too cold), Carnival Court is always a good time. Caramel in Bellagio, Heart Bar in Planet Hollywood, Eye Candy at Mandalay Bay, even Voodoo Lounge at the Rio have provided great nights out for us when we didn't feel like doing a big club. As Drew said, its very easy to find a good party just about anywhere in Vegas!

Yea, you can almost go anywhere as a visiting tourist and have fun anywhere. You don't have to go to a mega club. I'd say stick to hotel bars, where you'll find plenty of people to socialize with.
