Anyone been here? Im not a huge country fan but I remember going a few years ago when it was at the Frontier and it was good times.

Obviously its not the same atmosphere as your name brand clubs, but anyone know what its like there? Worth checking out for a beer or two?

I think so. It's been made a little nicer than the original one. But, they still have some pretty good drink specials and a much more laid back/down home crowd than you find at the clubs.

Nice change of pace if you have proper expectations.

I'm not a country fan at all, but when we were in town in December for my b-day, Gilley's was PACKED and looked like a lot of fun. Admittedly, the national rodeo finals were in town, so there were a LOT of cowboys and cowgirls around to jazz up the place.

So whats better Stoneys or Gilleys? We are 3 guys staying mid-strip, all late 20's looking for a good time, maybe meet some girls the same age.

stoneys is more locals... but more people.. more girls...
gilleys.. on strip.. more traffic.. usually come in for 20 and leave.. my thoughts... Stoneys..
