Vegas Virgin Planning A Bachelor Party

Hey all,

I have never been to Vegas and have been tasked with planning my brother's last night of freedom. Knowing that the Vegas Bachelor party is pretty cliche and likely to invoke some pretty bad connotations for those who work in the clubs/bars I am trying to get the run down on how to do this thing right. We are planning for a June/July date, but still working on everyone's schedules, but I've got a bit of time. So far I have read the guides and some of the great posts on these forums, and feel like I am going to need to do a bit of work to make sure our group of ~15 guys doesn't get the cold shoulder. Just wanted to say hey and thanks for the resources, I hope to be in touch with some of you hosts/folks in the know in the coming months to get this thing done right. Also, any general comments or suggestions are most definitely welcome.

Plenty of people do the Vegas Bachelor party...cliche or not, I wouldn't complain!

Yea, +1 to what Warren said. There are TONS of bachelor party threads on the site here, and you're best bet is to read as much as you can. Then read Bachelor party Trip Reports (TR) and get a sense of what has worked and what hasn't. By the end of reading through as much as you possibly can, you'll be better prepared than you thought you could be. Good luck!

Thanks for the tips guys, and I didn't mean to complain about Vegas, I'm psyched. As schedules and general budget levels are determined I'll be likely asking more questions, and you'll probably see an email from me in the coming months Mikey. For that many guys I would recommend dinner at the steak house in Circus Circus (I know that sounds bad, but it is the best steak house on the strip by a long shot), followed by free limo and cover to Saphires (just call and they will pick you up), and then use the contacts on here for the big corner booth on the patio at Pure in Ceasars. It hold 15, is right by the elavators so tons of ladies come by, and you can come and go to the other patrs of the club. Now that would be a prefect bachelor party!

Update

Thanks again for all the helpful replies and the wealth of info on these boards. I just wanted to throw out a bit of an update as things begin to solidify. We are going to be more like ~10 guys for the weekend of June 24-26th. Our plan is to stay at Palms Place, a 2br suite and a Studio. For those with earlier flights I've contacted Janelle from here about something @ Ditch (table/daybed). Thinking of doing wristbands on Friday night so as people filter in they can join us, and it will allow us to get the view of the city @ Ghostbar and pop around to the other clubs as we feel like it (Is there any timing issues with this, like we won't be able to get into a club after 1am w/ the bands or anything?). I've also been in contact with Janelle on here for cabana/daybed for Saturday, I know Palms Pool isn't a crazy club scene like EBC or WET, but I don't need a big name DJ spinning beats while I chill, and I assume it will still be a good group of folks drinking and having a good time? Saturday night is still up in the air, but thinking nice dinner somewhere, and some combination of clubs and strip clubs. I was thinking of potentially doing a SC circuit where I contact a few clubs for limo rides, and request pick-up from one strip club to the next, would this fly? Also, what is the deal with afterhours places (Drai's etc.) is a group of guys going to get in or is it similar entrance issues as regular clubs? Should we just pick up some girls along the way to boost our ratio? Anyways, I'm getting psyched about this, going to be a great weekend.
