  • Old Treasure Island Club that closed down

We asked a taxi driver which clubs play less techno and he listed a few then he said Treasure Island had one of the best but it had since closed down because of a fight and lawsuits. Does anyone know the name of this club?

My guess would be the Tangerine, which then became Christian Audiger?

the club that is now at TI is Gilley's, which is a country/western themed 'club', so in theory, they would play less techno there than at most places. gilley's used to be at the new frontier until that place was imploded, phil ruffin brought it back to life at TI when he bought it (he was the owner of new frontier until he sold that)
