Has anyone been on a non-event night? What are the lines like? Did you have any luck with the contacts posted on here?

A friend and I want to go on a Sunday if that makes a difference.

Just try texting each of the hosts to see what they can do for your group and what you are looking for. Larson, Justen, and Derrick Runtas (his info is in the host appreciation thread posted by warren.

I have had people that used Justen, and they havent had any issues. He has always been solid for me in the past at Vanity.

Friday to Monday I believe with Monday being their industry night

::scratch that:: I don't think they are open on Sunday.

Boooooo! I'll just have to go on Saturday. Above & Beyond is spinning that night, so I can get tickets, but does anyone know what the lines would be like? Thanks for answering all my questions.

A few weeks ago for Dirty South on MLK weekend, lines were insane, but at 9:30, pre-purchased tickets had their own line and it moved fast. A friend of a friend went last weekend for Benassi and had pre-purchased tickets and apparently had a horrible time getting in. Granted, it was a bachelor party of 8 guys, they had no girls, and they got there at midnight drunk and expecting not to have to wait. The guy was too wasted to remember if they had a separate line for tickets and how long they actually waited.

I'm going for Above and Beyond too, and plan on buying tickets in advance. Hopefully the lines won't be too bad...

In my experience the Marquee staff has seemed good to the people waiting in line, it is a bit of a clusterfuck the way it is designed, but that is what it is. I have never experienced the process, as I have been walked in each time I have gone, but didn't seem too bad.

It looked like a lot of different queues and lines, so be prepared to wait a bit on the busy evenings, but that is how it is at any club, let alone the brand new flagship club in the brand new swanky hotel.

Leaving that place is a whole other nightmare we won't talk about, or getting to the bathrooms from the other side of the club, haha.

Thank you both for the info!

My friend contacted Derrick and he said he'd put us on the guestlist. She's comped, but I'll probably have to pay cover haha.
