i couldn't figure out where else to put it.

Thought it might be interesting to get a thread going on recommendations for places to shop in vegas, especially for things like dresses/shoes/bikinis to wear while partying in vegas, and good places to get hair make-up tan etc done as well.

I fell in love with a dress store in the palazzo shops called claudio milano, not cheap but really pretty dresses & I don't think it was a chain store, so you're less likely to be in the same outfit as someone else.

Anyone got suggestions on places to go, or even places to avoid?

I never have time for shopping. I walked the mall in Ceasers once, and bought a watch. Thats it for me.

i find it theraputic when i have a hangover, and the novelty of being able to shop while carrying one of those giant fat tuesday drinks makes it even better. Half drunk shopping is the way forward!

For the hangover, Ill start with a bloody mary at margaritaville. Then Ill walk the strip, and check out all the really cheap casinos, where people are getting loud and crazy off of draft beer. lol

Being a Canadian, and not having access to the same stores as you guys.. I am SO EXCITED to go to Fashion Show Mall.. I've been there before and made quite a hall..

I don't know if those store.. Arden B, Forever 21, Wet Seal, Express appeal to you, but they have some pretty inexpensive trendy stuff!

And they should have a MAC Cosmetics counter in one of the bigger shops, like Neiman Marcus, and you just need to buy a lipstick or something small and you get a free makeup look. That would be the most fun and inexpensive way to get your makeup done!

had to go to fashion show once when the airline lost my gd luggage, but it is a great mall and with the addition of pallazo, wynn, and of course the forum shops you can do some damage.

i like the miracle mile shops too. You can get some good deals there

there are great outlets on lv blvd about a mile south od mandalay too, with alot of great stores

I'm a clothes whore so when i hit vegas i dedicate a shopping budget and spend at least a couple of half days shopping. They had some great sales going on this past weekend. 50% at D&G, 30% at 7 for all mankind, and Gucci had a good presale where you bought your items then and they shipped them to you on june 1st. anyway all you have to do is ask but more than likely when you walk in they will let you know what's going on.
