XS versus Marquee

So, are XS and Marquee now competing for Monday industry night? Opinions on which is the better venue? I've always loved XS...but haven't been to Marquee yet. Planning my next trip in April...

I still think XS > Marquee , I've said it before, XS has that super WOW factor that to me is the epitome of Las Vegas Nightclubs.

That being said, Marquee is new and I've only been once...so I think I'd leave this up to a Local to make the call.

Marquee Monday > XS Monday

It may just be the newness factor, but Marquee is definitely on top of Monday night right now.

Last Monday (1/24) I went to XS around 12:30am and it was, for lack of a better word, dead. NO line out front, walked right in. Inside the dance floor was about half-full, I could cut straight across it to the patio with little resistance. Empty tables everywhere in all sections. After 30 mins I gave up and drove down to Cosmopolitan. Marquee still had a line out front at 1am and inside was PACKED.

Last night (1/31) I skipped XS entirely and straight to Marquee for the first Party Rock Monday. It was the most insane weeknight I've seen at a club in years, and was still going strong when I left around 3:30am. I don't know how XS was, but it's hard to imagine it could have been any better.

For Monday nights, I'd recommend Marquee over XS until further notice.

That confetti rain, and the LED, the air guns, the energy, the newness, the hotel..

The music format, the multiple rooms..

I could go on and on..

So I wont, I think you get the picture though..lol

love em both... marquee has 1 flaw in my eye... the newness.. xs has more of that fluid factor.. give marquee a couple more months. and it will be FLAWLESS...

Hmmm. The newness factor always has a big part to play, and Marquee/Cosmo did go all out with the marketing and creating a buzz leading up to opening. I agree with Warren...XS has that special wow factor that you don't get in any other club in the country (or maybe the world)...but given all the good things people are saying about Marquee, got to go check it out on a Monday at some point.

I imagine on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, XS is still packed like XS usually is?

I think the bottom line is that on any trip to Vegas, XS and Marquee must be both on the list of clubs to visit!
