  • Heya

I'm AKBoarder, or Mike, originally from Eagle River, Alaska but now living in the Bay Area, Pacific Heights, San Francisco, to be exact.

I'm in the Marines, part of an Anti-Terrorism unit, used to be Recon, and just got back from Iraq at the beginning of May '09. Pretty much just focusing on partying and getting my degree finished up for next spring.

I'm wicked tall (6'8) and pretty much love to snowboard as much as possible.

That's the basics, anything else just ask.

Yeah, I bought a car when I was in Iraq and it's at my buddies house in Boulder. So we're driving it down =)

Tell me about it. Me and the girl went back and forward a bit but we're spending Christmas in Tahoe instead of at CityCenter like we originally planned. Oh well =)

I thought only people from New England use "wicked" as an adjective?

I picked it up from a group of Irish(as in Ireland, not American "Irish") girls that I spent a summer with and I've never stopped saying it, lol.

But it does always make think of Ben Affleck in Good Will Hunting saying "My boy's wicked smaaaht"

Well being a native New Englander, I use it all the time....and whenever I meet people from other parts of the country, they always comment on it. In fact, the last time I was in Vegas, some guy from California was giving me a hard time about saying it.

Dnix: Heavenly is sick, but I'm more of a North Star and Squaw guy, because they both have free tickets for military =)

The girl loves Heavenly though, because there's more beginner terrain, so we'll be hitting it a few times I'm sure over Christmas.

Addicted: That's awesome. If anyone ever gave me a hard time about it I'd probably give them a hard time right back, haha

I almost did the sac to tahoe last month, but decide to do Park City, since I hadnt been there. It worked out for the best too. Friend of a friend, let us borrow his house. 3 story house, 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms and kitchens, on the mountain. It was sick.

Breckenridge is my absolute favorite, though.
