Iowan heading to Vegas!

Hey all,

I'm new to the forums (this is my first official post).

Some girlfriends and I are heading to Vegas in early June. Haven't booked the tickets yet -- waiting to see which dates will be the best deal, but we're looking at spending a week in town.

I'm up for any suggestions on how to make the best of our trip! I've only been to Vegas once, and mostly did touristy things and gambled -- didn't go to any clubs. This time around, I want to do it up right!

Best dates would be to move your trip back a few weeks for the mAyOD invasion. (May 19th-23rd). http://forums.jackcolton.com/showthread.php?t=5100

Unfortunately, we work at colleges and they won't be out yet, so we won't make mAyOD. I'll definitely keep an eye open for future AOD trips to try and make one work.

Well if you can't come to the AOD May Invasion where so many events are preplanned, then you might think about preplanning a little yourself.

Check the forums and figure out what clubs you want to hit. Then contact the host at that club a week or two in advance. Depending on your group...if its all girls then you can probably just request to get on the guest list. If its a group with way more guys than girls you might not get on guest list.

Same thing if you want a table. Contact the hosts (JCers can recommend good people at every club) to determine a price/location/# people/etc.

Once you determine a specific club you can always start a thread asking for current information and tips on that club.

Oh...almost forgot one really important thing...hit the clubs, drink too much, stay out way too late and have a great time

I wish wish wish we could make the AOD trip in May...but alas, we'll work on some preplanning on our own.

Right now, it's all women...and we may lose a couple depending on a few things, so it might just be my best friend and I. Two gals can still have a good time, though, right!

We'll figure out what clubs we'll hit a little closer to our trip. Thanks for any and all tips!

I posted in a couple forums checking on hotel suggestions, what not to miss while there, and suggestions for some hot apparel (for not a lot of cash).
