Looking for a Host and some Info

Sort of a call out to any independant hosts or club hosts that can meet my request.


6 or 7 person bachelor party going to Vegas Feb 17 to 21st, looking to book table service at a club for Saturday Feb 19th.

Would rather go to a second tier club and get better service / table location than go to the "hottest" club and be put in a corner.

Looking to buy 2 bottles and hopefully get a 3rd free but it's vegas on Sat so I don't know if that's doable.


Again, in order of importance:
a) Table location
b) Service
c) Price
d) Quality of Club (only because there are tons of clubs in Vegas so as long as it's not a **** hole I'm sure it'll be fine.

All help is super appreciated.

Lavo might be a good option. It's smaller than most of the top clubs. Table locations in general are all decent and Donnie.Lavo is a host there that posts here and has been providing great service to JC members.

Posting on this forum and giving an all points bulletin that your want a B2G1 free deal is not going to get you anywhere.

You would have just as much success if you stood on the corner of LVB and Freemont St and yelled at the top of your lungs.

This site is a good resource but YOU have to TAKE the initiative.

Hey Warren (side topic), I was doing some searching around for recommended contacts and was trying to read up on Darryl. Everyone raves about him, but I couldn't figure him out exactly...

Is he an actual host somewhere? Or did he just used to be a host at Prive, but now just knows everyone and can get people set up anywhere?

He used to host at a couple places, prive, drais, etc. Now he mostly parties with us and has bunch of contacts.

Thank you very much for the info, it is honestly appreciated.

When I asked about the b2g1 free I've heard some clubs offer this, some don't - from the sounds of it it would appear I actually need to request that from all the clubs. I'll message them all and report back I suppose.

Second, I'm looking for a list of tier 2 clubs or clubs where my money will go further. Lavo appears to be an option, just wondering if there were other clubs slightly below the main ones?

Moon would be a good one. I was at a bachelor party at TAO in March (during March Madness) and bottle prices were pretty good. Our table was up on the pool deck outside though, but still had a good time. Our table had a $1750 minimum and bottles started at $350 for Vodka. If you wanna get inside be prepared to spend some more. Also check out PURE, LAX, The Bank, and Rain.

If you are looking for place to get a deal on the weekend, you can possibly get a deal at places inside the Palms, LAX, JET, possibly and Vanity and Lavo. My choice would be either Lavo or Vanity. Get in touch with the hosts for those recommended clubs and see what kind of deals they can provide you. Also, like Warren and Drew stated, get in touch with Darryll and see if you can help you out. This guy has contacts at almost all of the places and he most definitely will be able to score you a deal. But don't forget take care of those who are taking care of you.

This actually brings up an important question that was asked elsewhere that didn't really get answered.

Table location is really important to me, so getting a crappy table in an okay-ish club won't really work (would rather just go somewhere else).

Some people say tip the host AFTER you are seated, but if the location isn't good then why tip, especially since we probably won't stay? On the other hand I would gladly tip well ($100/bottle seems to be generous without being wasteful) if it meant getting the right table.

So am I tipping before in order to GET the good table, or tipping AFTER I get the good table?

You tip after your host walks you in. Also do some research online about certain table locations at clubs you want to go to and when making the reso with the host mention that specific area.

So when you get to the club and the host walks you in, but its not a table location that you would like, talk to the host and see what he can do for you. Sometimes it requires a "handshake" for a better location, etc. Also, if you want a prime location, sometimes there are certain bottle or $ minimums to that location. Dance floor table can be a 3btl minimum compared to an outer table with a 1btl minimum.

Use the hosts in the "Host Appreciation" thread, they are the most solid ones out and are used most often. They are also the ones that give good table locations and deals.
