I guess it's a silly question to ask why you need to keep drinking in your room...sorry all! haha.

to answer the original question, i only do get in friday night and leave sunday afternoon trips so my packing is extremely light:

    clothes
    bathing suit
toiletry bag (namely toothbrush, multi-vitamins and condoms)
    wallet

as a sidenote, a fun way to get cheap drinks quickly is to highjack a cute cocktail waitress with a tray full of drinks. flirt with her then offer her $25 or $50 for the entire tray, regardless of what drinks are on it. she'll likely oblige as its just another walk back and forth to bar and the drinks are free. most of the drinks are standard beers, jack/coke, vodka/soda, gin/tonic so if you get a good tray, everyone will be happy. it's cheaper than buying it at the bar and much cheaper and quicker than waiting for it at the table. sometimes you get some weird drinks but you just chug them and move onto something that suits your tastes.

I forgot to list V8s. You get some tomato juice in there and it helps with the hangover and bounceback for the next night with energy.

I try and leave a bunch of G2's and water by bed with ibuprofen so I can pound that before crashing. Vegas more than any other place hydration is of the utmost importance.

          Hey mammajet
Since you clearly have kick ass medical info for us (thank you by the way) and since were from Colo is there any truth to that rumor that since we're from higher elevations we can handle more alcohol at lower elevations?
I'm gonna say no since i always end up passed out somehow naked in the bathtub. Just sayin.....

That's not a bad idea, buying the tray so to speak...I don't know if I'd have the balls to ask though...lol

NOPE-if you live at sea level and consume alcohol at elevation (Denver/mountains for example) you can get elevation sickness quicker but it has more to do with the dehydrating effects of alchohol. Unfortunately, when we high altitude folks go to a lower elevation, it doesn't help at all--the enzyme that breaks down alcohol doesn't have anything to do with oxygen concentrations. Sorry
I feel sorry for people who don't drink, when they get up in the morning, that's best they're gonna feel all day!

I am going to Costco's this week and loading up on Magnesium and Redbull for my trip. I will be on a strict diet of red bull/vodkas, magnesium, In & Out Burger, Vegas bombs and a little bit of water next weekend. Great info!

Don't forget your B vitamins! B1 is the important one--I don't think Red Bull has that in it-plenty of other B vitamins though! Have a GREAT trip!!!

LMAO I was thinking if I was in town for the May Invasion I would ask for the "Official Medical" T-shirt! LOL However, providing medical care while drinking is really frowned upon by most medical ethics people LOL.
