This is from a medical perspective: Do not take tylenol when consuming large quantities of alcohol-your liver cannot handle it! Ibuprofen or naproxyn are better choices... In your pregame include magnesium and a vitamin B tablet(red bull has extra B vitamins)-that's what we mix in the lovely yellow "banana bags" at the ER when drunks come in-it helps your body metabolize the alcohol better! (and no it won't spoil your buzz-trust me!) Just a fun fact for free--LOL a couple things to add to your list!
I feel sorry for people who don't drink, when they get up in the morning, that's best they're gonna feel all day!

Thanks for tip on magnesium, Vitamin B and no to Tylenol if drinking heavy! :-) but nobody does that when they visit Vegas. ;-)

I'll be in town this weekend and I'll test it out and report back.

            Add to list:
1.Copy of ID in case you loose or get jacked.
2.Name of hotel you're staying at in case you're lost or unable to vocalize to Taxi or PoPo when they need 2 take you back to the hotel for re-energizing.
            3. A buddy who drinks lightly or not at all, which they must pass timely sobriety test or be replaced.
            4. Open mind, patience, and remember: Be nice and you'll be treated nice!

Vegas Baby! 30 hours! But who's counting? ME :-))

One other thing to add to the essentials above - chapstick, carmex or some kind of lip protection. The dry air can be brutal.

I hear you on the chapstick...Almost every time I go to Vegas in the summer I end up with chapped lips due to the air there....

Not to sound dumb but does Magnesium come in a tablet form or is it only in liquid form? Does taking this with the Vitamin B tablet limit a possible hangover?

Packed already and over 24 hours to go!

I went to local Grocery and got a big bottle of magnesium! Got the chapstick, and even though this is trip 8 in 2 years, I feel like it's the first.

Gotta work tomorrow, but then it's off to Vegas Thursday at 7:10 am, in the Casino at 9:10 and hopefully good and buzzed by Noon!

Vegas is like no other place on earth!

                            Live Large or Go Home!

Magnesium in the liquid form (Mag citrate) is usually a laxative! (DO NOT TAKE!!!!) Get magnesium oxide and take 1-2 tablets in the 12 hours or so before you party. It is over the counter. That, along with B vitamins, specifically thiamine (B1) I think helps decrease the severity of the hangovers. Milk Thistle (also over the counter suppliment) is supposed to support the liver but I didn't think it helped much. Nothing is going to work as well if you don't drink some water/gatoraid before you go to bed!
