  • Pool Questions

Had a few newb pool questions since last time our group just chilled at the free pool when we stayed at the Luxor.

    1) We're going to be staying at the MGM in May. Is Wet Republic the pool or a different thing? Is it free for guests?

    2) Are the minimums for tables/cabanas/etc. per person or total?

    3) Anything else I should know?

MGM has a regular pool and Wet Republic. Wet is an adults only party pool. The regular pool is much more laid back.

    Minimums are per group.

mins are per group but correlated with a certain number of people. Like say a cabana has a 3K min good for 15 people, that reservation would only help you get 15 people in, if you have more in your group they will have to get in other ways.

if you have girls in your group they should be able to get on the Wet guestlist for free entry or at least a line pass. They also pass them out in to girls in the hallway leading to Wet

Is it like an all day thing or a "chill for a couple of hours" thing?

Is it still club/house music mostly pumping?

BTW, next trip is for a bachelor party so def no girls.

both... but less chilling and more partying. Similar to club music yes. beware of getting too blasted at the pool parties and crashing til 2 am missing out on the night club adventures

Well the night club adventures appear to be beyond our budget (and out of our element) compared to this pool stuff. I had no idea its easier/cheaper to party all night on New Year's in NYC than some random weekday in Vegas.

Beware.. the pool parties are just as expensive as the night clubs.

btw, don't let the pricing scare you. You can def. party your brains out on a budget in Vegas as well.
