November Birthday Bash

Hey All-

I and a bunch of my friends are going to be coming November 11-14th for a giant B-day bash covering pretty much everyone's birthday's for the year. Most of us are turning 30, but funny enough we have one guy turning 21. I know it's early, but I figured I'd drop a line on here early and see if anyone else is planning the same time frame.

I honestly don't know where we'll be staying, but most of us are coming in from Denver, some from KC, Des Moines, and Pittsburgh. There is a chance I'll have a block of rooms at TI on the cheap, but nothing in stone as of yet.

Hope to help or get help on any deals we come across.

Hey Sta, going well, really starting to ramp up my searching and trying to nail down some ideas for people. Right now we're looking to have around 20 people give or take of course. How big is your group? and Where are you coming from?

jsully, I didn't realize they were scheduled for that weekend, that's awesome. I've been in town a couple times with big ticket fights and it usually does mean a good time all around.

We are headed over from PA and will be getting in around 1030 Thurs night. I don't have a firm number on group size yet so far 4 have booked their plane tickets with another handful of maybes. Ive been doing the same trying to figure out plans for when we are out there although haven't nailed much down as of yet.

Have you booked your rooms yet? I think we're hoping to find a condo with the number of people we're looking at. The MGM has been pretty good about presenting some Signature deals when booking multiple suites. Also the Jockey Club has a couple places that would really be nice for a big group.

2 out of the 4 already have a room booked. Not sure how good of a deal mgm will will be giving that weekend with the fight being at the mgm arena. My one buddy and I haven't booked yet since I'm still looking to see what deals are out there.

The Jockey Club is on the top of my list but they keep telling me it's a 4 night minimum and we only want to do 3 nights. I think when I'm ready to actually book they might work with me a little more, right now they have all the power, lol. I don't know what we'll end up doing, I want a nice place but most of us are gonna be up against budgets so it'll have to be as nice as money will allow.

As far as hitting the clubs etc we're probably gonna go balls out one night and do crazy pre-gaming and cheap the other nights. Would you guys be down for going in on Table Service? We're gonna have a good mix of guys and girls so it should be a really good time.

the couple that booked a room already ended up getting 3 nights at the flamingo for 243 including taxes and such with a friends and family promo code that i found. It was the best offer I have found so far for somewhere that is a alright location on the strip. right now were looking at doing the palms wristbands with hosted bar to drink on the cheap for Friday night and probably going all out on sat night or at least my buddy and I are planning to go all out sat night the other 2 fly out at like 9 am on Sunday so they might not party hard that night. Im not flying out till like 4 pm so sat is going to be a good night. throwing down together on table service could be a good way to get a better table/deal at one of the clubs. right now our ratio isn't the best its currently sitting at 3 guys and 1 girl.

yes its true, my birthday is on 11/ 11/ 11 - we are doing a week long party celebration and any AOD/ JC member can join.
