  • Bachelor Party from Dubai/UK/Australia in May

    Hey everyone,

Four of us are getting married in a few different locations this year so we have decided to have a combined Bachelor Party in Vegas in May (from 26 May - 1 June). We've got about 12-15 people confirmed at the moment.

We have people flying in from London, Europe, Dubai, Australia and South Africa and none of us have been to Vegas before.

I've been looking at the MGM, Bellagio or Planet Hollywood for places to stay but am open to suggestions. We have pretty decent budgets for accommodation and nights out (most of us are pro rugby players)

Ideally we want to be on the strip but after reading on these forums, it looks like its a struggle to get a group of guys into any of the decent clubs. We don't have an issue paying for bottles or tables but how do we go about arranging that?

Any advice/help on what to do would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

PS: Terrible timing on our behalf for the AOD party in May too

Based on your group size and criteria, I would say Planet Hollywood is your best choice as far as being able to accommodate large groups, location, party vibe, etc... MGM's location isn't ideal and most of the Bellagio's rooms are in need of renovation/updating.

As far as arranging bottle service, contact the hosts listed at the link below at the clubs you want to attend. I would suggest making initial contact about one month in advance for clubs, two months out for pool reservations. Tell them you got their contact information from JackColton.com. They'll ask for all the particulars, i.e. number of people, ratio, preferred table location, etc... and then give you pricing. Be sure to read the other "how to" guides on the front page of this site to learn how to best take care of the hosts that take care of you.

    Here's the link:

    Good luck.

The big suite at planet hollywood would be great for big parties.

Thanks and just a couple of questions...

Thanks for the replies and advice. Its all greatly appreciated

        I've read the guides on this site and have been searching the forums for some info as well and just have a few quick questions;

        1) Is it better to stay at the hotel where we want to go out? Ie, should we stay at MGM if we want to go to Wet Republic or stay at Hard Rock if we want to go to Vanity or does it not really matter?

        2) If we book a big suite for a party, can we take it for just a few hours or do we need to take it for the night? Can we just invite random people we meet at clubs/on the street, etc and they can get up to the suite?

Thanks again and the trip is looking pretty good !

It helps from a convenience standpoint to be at the hotel where the club/pool you're going to is located, but there really is no place thats meets all the criteria for most. You're going to have to go of property at some point and piling in a limo can be a memorable time. Of the two, I would probably plan around the pool more so than the club.

I've never heard of a Vegas hotel renting a suite by the hour.

            1) i generally like staying at the hotel where im partying at cuz its a nice convenience but it doesnt matter staying at a different hotel then your choice of club. The pool party hotel is better to stay at cuz you can go to your room and change as you need to during the day. Otherwise you need to travel a bit to change.

The last time i stayed at the Venetian and the 3 nights i was in vegas i was at 3 different clubs at 3 other hotels. Just take a limo/taxi over to your destination, it wont be bad. I didnt even go to TAO or Lavo .. (i have yet to go )

            2) Ya ive never heard of a hotel only charging you for a few hours. Its going to have to be the full night. Yes you can invite random people you meet at the clubs to you suite. I am not sure if there is a maximum number of people allowed. im sure its dependent on the size of the suite, may want to call that in unless someone else can chime in here and respond.
