    Hi Guys,

Where's the best on strip place for big burgers and diner type food? Going to be coming across from London so want to pig out on huge authentic american burgers, pulled pork and other diner type food that we just don't get over here in England?

Thinking along the lines of Man v Food?!?

Need something to soak up all the booze from from the heavy nights/pool parties.

    Cheers

    Rob

It’s not burgers but you could try the big badass burrito at Sahara which was on man v food its only 6 lbs.
Also hash house has some unique combinations and was also on man vs food

Go to in/out burger in Dallas now since I go there alot. The Vegas location lost a little luster. Stripburger is the bomb at fashion show mall.

I agree with Jay on Burger Bar in Mandalay Place. Excellent burgers and it seems like you can build a great burger for a cheaper price than say KGB. I have eaten at KGB (Harrah's) twice and it was good, but nothing too spectacular. BLT (Mirage) has excellent shakes (the alcoholic Grandma's Treat is particularly tasty), good burgers and usually is pretty crowded and lively. Seemingly all of the food at Hash House is massive (their website gives you a good idea on what to expect) and difficult to finish, but it's a great value. Also, they rarely allow any changes or substitutions if you or any of your group is a picky eater.

At least last summer, the Flamingo had a Graveyard Special at the Burger Joint where you could get a burger and fries for $2. Obviously, it wasn't a gourmet or memorable burger, but after drinking hard, it was perfect.

And while it's mostly known for its Frozen Hot Chocolate, the Bleu Cheese Burger at Serendipity 3 was delicious and better than the similar one at KGB. The atmosphere and people-watching is great too if you're on the patio right on the Strip.
