Vegas Virgin..Suggestions/Advice

First I would like to thank everyone who has anything to do with this site. I was doing research on the net in starting to plan a trip to vegas. This site has helped me more than anything else I was able to find online. So again thanks.

So to get to the point:
I'm looking to come to vegas in may (right now looking at may 18-21). I will be traveling with a group of 4 guys including myself, maybe a 5th may come (guys trip, graduating college last trip together for awhile). We all range from 21-24 yrs old, are from the south and we party as hard as we work. Looking for a hotel with a young fun party vibe, a nice place with a view where we can pre/post game, and a place we can bring ladies back to. Also, we're not big on sleeping on floors if we don't have too. I don't want to spend over 2k for the hotel stay. Right now I'm looking at either Palms Place or Planet Hollywood Towers as hotels. Which of the two would you recommend for us first timer guys or if you know any others that would be good for us?

Also, if you have any recommendations on clubs that would be appreciated also. We would like to hit the big ones for the night.

hotel you are looking at 3 nights... depends what your budget is. You say you don't want to spend 2k, so can you spend $1900? Between 4 people(2 rooms, 2 queen) for 3 nights on a weekend you are probably close to that at a nicer place... but there are always deals. An ok deal at aria we got in feb for a 2 queen room ended up as $675 (after taxes etc., not including resort fee) with $100 resort credit. So about $350 per person for 3 nights. Not sure how the hotel is, I'll tell you when I get back.

Ummm, the huge JC.com invasion is that weekend....

There will be about 300 forum members + friends there tearing Vegas a new one. There are threads and whatnot dedicated specifically to this weekend.

@PiKaMonK..Thanks for the links, they really help. For our hotel budget we're willing to spend ~2k in hotel budget but cheaper would be better. The two rooms do sound good, but we were looking more at suites for the living room factor
@Moezilla..sounds interesting, i will be with friends and wouldn't want to be an extra tag along for you guys, but it would be nice to meet up with invasion and party together someplace

I can't speak to Palms but Planet Hollywood was awesome-Lots of the younger crowd plus you're closer to on the strip so you can walk almost anywhere you want.

It'll surprise no one who's seen my posts that I'm surprised the Hard Rock isn't in your final grouping. If you don't stay there, I hope you take a trip over there and then you'll wish you did.

I've stayed at almost every major property during my "career" (business takes me there 10-14 times a year) and I love the Hard Rock! The music's a little louder and the joint just reeks of the word "party" more so than any of the others IMHO. Palms and Planet Hollywood are nice, no doubt, and the Hard Rock's location (as the Palm's) is well off the strip, but not so far that a quick cab ride can't take you to the heart of the strip. Location definitely gives Planet Hollywood an edge. I just think when the Hard Rock is "rockin" it trumps the rest. In May the pool will be in full swing and it won't be 115 either!

Where ever you stay, I hope you have a blast!

Thanks everyone for the advice so far. Hard Rock does look legit too, may consider that one also. I'll be hanging around the forum trying to learn what I can so I'll talk to you guys between now and may about the invasion.

@Mikey T, ill definitely hit you up closer to May. From looking at EBC it looks like a place we may want to check out. I've been searching the forums as far as dealing with host, if you have anything else to add please let me know. First time jitters, i just want everything to go good and have as much fun as possible.
