I was at Encore last trip which was sick, but they're asking for way more money this time around, so I'm seeing what other options I've got. What other awesome suites are there on the strip? Similar sort of idea as the Encore rooms, no 3-story 5 bedroom affairs please!

Then I'd go for it. At the same time you'll enjoy the other side of town from Encore, within the new CityCenter. And newly opened Cosmopolitan is next to Aria, looks great and should be nice to visit, plus it might be another possibility in terms of booking. Cosmopolitan should have better views if that's important, overlooking Bellagio Fountains and Caesar's Palace on one side, CityCenter on another. Though I'm not sure if all rooms are fully opened yet and I've seen someone complaining that it feels empty (if that's a bad thing).

Yeah I had a pretty good deal on Cosmo, which I'll do if I decide I want to save some money, but I was reading the review on VegasTripping.com and they didn't seem too impressed with it. I have a feeling compared to the Encore most hotels are going to fall short though. Only negative to Encore is the location, but it's still easy walking distance to the other hotels.
