Neither have I, but there have been a few reports from members over the past couple years who have and all were favorable. But it has changed over time as well.Originally posted by readyforvegas View PostI never did the hosted bar. Any good?
Basics of it for Rain at least, you get access to a little vip area with other hosted bar customers that has a bar that you get your free drinks from. The reviewers tended to like having that extra vip section. It last for a few hours (2-3 I think?). That's one of the things I remember changing from the description was that the time was shortened. Also, I could totally be forgetting, but I think it was supposed to be limited to certain types of alcohol.

That's right, quoting the website, limited to Ketel One Vodka, 1519 Tequila, Red Bull, and Fiji water for the "premium" drinks.Originally posted by Drew View PostNeither have I, but there have been a few reports from members over the past couple years who have and all were favorable. 4 different vibes although crowds some sometimes similar since many people to bounce around the same night.Originally posted by TheDon20 View PostIn terms of overall experience, size, vibe, dj, ect.....how would you'll compare and contrast each of the 4 clubs. I'm heading out in March and my friends and I were looking into hitting up the Palms one of the nights. Thx
Ghostbar- small, more like a lounge, great terrace and view. I usually start or end here.
Playboy- larger, getting more club like, but still has a lounge feel to it. Cool to see the playboy theme, has some gambling tables mixed in. Usually go here after ghostbar.
Moon- This is right upstairs of playboy, so it's a an easy walk up. Becomes more of a club at this point with dance floors, etc. Also great viewss.
Rain- full on, higher energy, larger sized, more open space, club.

I did the hosted bar at Rain and really liked it. The bar never got too backed up and the bartenders were nice and quick. One friend was even able to get a bunch of extra drinks for girls with no wristbands with no problem. I'd say the biggest downside is that, at least at Rain, the hosted bar is all the way at the top of the club (sort of above the DJ booth). It can be nice to get away from the floor for a bit, but it's very difficult to move to the dancefloor and the hosted bar once things really pick up later in the night. It sort of creates this "point of no return" with the hosted bar that could very well come before 2am when it shuts down.Originally posted by readyforvegas View PostI never did the hosted bar. If I can resurrect an old thread for a moment...which website is the best to buy the passes from? We have seven guys looking to get the hosted/VIP/all access pass. I see that the N9NE Group site doesn't seem to offer the hosted bar option, but vegas.com does. Is vegas.com reputable enough to buy from??

I did the hosted bar at Rain last Friday and the bar was actually moved downstairs. Most of the upstairs was just not open. Instead, the bar immediately to the right of the DJ booth (if you were standing on the dance floor, facing the DJ) was the hosted bar.
I'd buy them from eventbrite.com. That was the site with the lowest fees (none, if I remember correctly). I just went to clashfridays.com to find the ticket buying link, but, if you follow the links at the bottom of that page, you can easily get to eventbrite.com pages for other Palms nights.
Lemme know if you have any other questions.

eventbrite that gobos mentions i believe is the site the n9negroup uses now if you follow the link from their website.
n9negroup used to do it through wantickets officially before that, so that would be my 2nd choice.
vegas.com in general is pretty good I'd say so that would be choice 3 if 1 and 2 fail
