  • La Reve

Hadn't seen any posts here regarding this particular show. We did the dinner package through Wynn; had dinner at the Society Encore Cafe (good) and then attended the show.
It was good-I would call it similar to a Cirque show- with water features (I haven't seen "O" so I can't do a comparision there).
Parts of it were very slow and by the end, you were ready to get out of there. However, some parts of the performance were very entertaining and made the show at least memorable. It is amazing some of the things they did considering they were wet!
I feel sorry for people who don't drink, when they get up in the morning, that's best they're gonna feel all day!

How much was the dinner package? Worth it? was it a fixed price menu?(If yes... what did you have?) hahah ok lots of questions but we were thinking of doing society, and group wants to watch O but I wanted to do le reve, so if the package is worth it I may be able to persuade them...

If I remember correctly, it was $160/head with GREAT seats. The usual price is $39. It was a price-fix menu, appetizer choice, meal choice and shared dessert. Most of us had the chicken or fish and everyone was very satisfied with their meal. As far as appetizers the iceburg wedge and the mac n cheese bites were the table favorites. The dessert was wonderful! You think "donut bites" ? but they were HEAVEN and came with dipping sauces. Wine and gratuity are extra just as FYI.

I have only seen Reve and Love as far as Cirque goes but I found Reve far superior. Some of the things those guys did really blew me away. Even though its not officially Cirque, its directed by the same guy who did Mystère.

Only thing I didn't like about la reve is there was to much going around actors running up the stairs come out of every corner or the room made me miss what was happening on the main stage sometime... Didn't really have the problem with O but Good thing about la reve is there isn't a bad seat In the house the seats are set up around the stage. O is set up like a typical stage where the further back you are the harder it is to see

If it's not too late, don't do it! My whole crew thought Le Reve was MUCH better than 'O'.

Le Reve is not a Cirque du Soleil production.....and it's easy to see why.

The music in the Cirque du Soleil shows is always very very good.

But the weakness of this show is the soundtrack...very boring music.
They tried to create a story...but there is nothing to understand.

If you want to see a show in water, go see O right now and you can forget about Le Reve.

La Rev was entertaining, but I found myself a bit bored after 30 minutes or so.

La Reve was pretty damn good, the story was a little sluggish but the performances are awesome. I still prefer O.

Not sure about Love, but you'll be hard pressed to find discounted tickets to Le Reve.
