Planning a Bachelor Party

Planning my best friends bachelor party in May. Should be a group of 15-20 guys. The bachelor comes to vegas lots and spares no expense when he does but some of the guys in the group might not want to spend like him. We are flying in on Saturday morning and out on Monday. I was thinking pool parties saturday and sunday and two nights out at the clubs.

I'm looking for the dirtiest, wildest bachelor party possible! Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

My first suggestion is to tell your cheapskate friends to pony the F$%k up since your friend is getting married.

It's Vegas. Entertainment comes at a premium sometimes.

First things first, you need a solid base of operations (Where do you want to be on the strip and what is your groups budget?)

Check out the PH Towers suites. A couple of those might work for your group and they are well priced for the amount of space you get.

If you have a AAA membership, you will get a discount.




Pools...


Do you want a cabana? With a group that size, its going to be kinda hard to get 20 lounge chairs next to each other.

This choice really depends on where you are staying. It's not fun to take a taxi to the other side of the strip after you have soaked and baked all day.

Try and book your hotel with your pool goals in mind. If the pool is closer to your hotel, you will spend less time walking around and more time drinking and meeting women.

Which sounds better?


Tao Beach is cool, but can get crowded.

Some of the people on this site have posted favorable reviews about Wet Republic.

Of course, if you want "dirty", you can try one of the topless pools.


If you are going out on Saturday, its going to be packed and Saturday is also going to be expensive if you want bottle service. You have a large group. If you want to get that many dudes in the door, you are going to have to pay for it.

Tryst, XS, Surrender. These are popular choices.

For a group of your size, I would stay away from Tao and Marquee. Not because they are "bad" but because they are "narrow" clubs.

Unless you get the ultra "I run this Sh$%" table, you guys are going to feel squeezed tight.

Sunday will be better. Less crowded, better prices.

I would go to XS on Sunday. Its easier to get a party of your size in on Sunday vs Saturday.

There is a beach club at the Wynn as well.


Keep in mind that during summer (and May is close enough) most clubs will charge $425-$475 for a bottle and there is often a two bottle minimum.

You will also need to tip your VIP host ($100 per bottle)

P.S. - I am the wrong guy to ask about strip clubs and things like that. Maybe someone else can chime in on how to make his weekend more "dirty"

P.P.S - Do not discount the money that can be saved by proper planning. For example, I brought a group of guys out to Vegas twice this year.

We only took 2 cabs the entire weekend. That was it.

We could walk to virtually all the clubs on our target list, all the pools, all the shows and most of the good bars.

Go on google and map out where you will be walking or drving.

Cabs and Limo costs add up quick for a group of your size.

Planning ahead can take a lot of that cash used for transportation and put it to better use (Like Drinks and Blackjack funds)

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking that the majority of us that don't mind bucking up could just get tables and the remainder of the guys could grease to get in.

For pools i was thinking Wet Republic on Saturday and Rehab on Sunday. Are we better off staying at Hard Rock so that the guys that don't want to spend as much get in easier?

As for dirty. I want every one of us to be so ashamed that we can't look each other in the eye at the wedding! The bachelor has been a wild one for years and it a small miracle that he is getting married! He needs to go out with a bang.

What is the best after hours now? We were down in september and went to Drais a few times.

I like Drai's but some of the vets on this board don't seem to keen on it.

Read the thread "after hours spot" on the main nightlife page.

They listed some of the other afterhours spots that might be worth your time.

If you want to be shameless, here is a suggestion.

Get some of those semi permanent tattoo's that you stick on.

Get some t-shirts custom printed that say "so and so's bon voyage" and hand them out to your crew and then have a sticker to go along with it.

We had an outing where we brought those Tatoo's that you wet and then peel off. We filled a bag with them and started putting them on chicks.

Here was the catch:

If they wanted a Tatoo, you got to lick it on. They picked where they wanted it, and you applied it.

That was a hell of a time. Some people were VERY offended and others were into it. Had one friend (a slight pervert) who insisted on asking the girls "high" or "low"

If she said "high" he placed it high on her lower regions. If she said "Low", he placed it low on her higher regions.

Ill let your imagination work the rest out.

He made the mistake of placing one on a gal who had a boyfriend present (why she went along with it, who knows).

The guy was pissed but there wasn't anything he could do.

If you roll strong with a group of 20 guys, you can own almost any spot in Vegas.

Chicks are drawn to boisterous groups of guys who look like they are haveing fun and don't need anyone else to continue having fun. Laugh often, always be confident and you will be surprised by what happens.

Oh ya, you have to pony up for drinks as well.

Those pools are good choices. Hard Rock can be wild or lame, depending on the crowd. It is a younger crowd.

The less walking, the better. If you go strong (get drunk) at rehab, staying at the Hard Rock helps keep your group close.

Saturday I would club hop so you are not tied down.

Go buy the Palms wristband and club hop there.

You will enjoy Ghostbar and Rain is a good time.

$60 bucks and you can go to all four clubs.

After you have had your fill there, pick the after hours spot you like and party unti 7am.

I would save those funds for some tables at XS on Sunday. Sunday is much easier to get in.

You will have a good time.

Getting tables 2 night in a row really locks you down financially. You are committed for 2 nights.

Have you ever tried keeping 20 single, young and horny guys together for 2 night in a row?

It isn't happening.

Your best bet is to have a loose set of plans one night so guys can take off when they want and have a "must attend" party on Sunday and make that your BIG TABLE night.

Have 2 times where everyone agrees to rendezvous at the hotel and head out for the night.

The strip club thing should probably go down on Saturday night.

I'm in charge of my trip this year but on a much smaller scale, 4 guys instead of 20, and we all have varying budgets too. Two of the guys are done with college and out making decent money but my bro is in law school starving and I work at Best Buy so you get the gist.
As much as I would love to contribute more it isn't an option. So I worked it out by booking at the Hard Rock because they have pretty good rates I could stomach and the other guys could get suites and ball out if they want. That way we all get our own space and a central place to meet.
When it comes to Table service we worked it out by me and my bro picking up the tips and tax and the rich kids just buying the bottles. Ask the guys what they intend to spend and figure what they can drop on everything and ask the more well to do guys to try and cover the rest. That way everyone gets to party together.

There are tons of places to be at for pool parties: EBC, TAO Beach, Wet Republic, Marquee Beach opening this year, Nikki Beach opening this year, Liquid.....forget Rehab, place is done.
