  • Outdoor Table at XS This Coming Weekend

    Hey JC'ers,

I'm thinking about getting a table at XS this weekend for a group of 6. I've been told a table minimum for this coming weekend would be 2 bottles, and would most likely be an outside table. I've never been to XS...is getting an outside table even worth it? Would they provide enough space heaters for us to be comfortable? Would there be some better BS options than XS on a Friday or Saturday? I know on Saturdays it supposed to be pretty crowded.

I've attached a floormap here (that I found in another thread...I don't believe the prices shown are relevant)...would anyone be able to tell me based on the map where an outside table could potentially be?

I could be wrong, as I've only been to XS once, but I think all the tables shown on that map are inside the club with the exception of maybe the ones in the 900's. I know for sure the cabanas and pool area are not on there.

I personally wouldn't pay for BS outside in the winter, but that's just me. There are too many other good options in Vegas.

When i was there in october, we were at an outdoor cabana..at first i thought i would rather be inside but we ended up having a lot of fun there..we had a pretty big group and the people around us at the other cabanas were alot of fun too. but its also a lot colder now (but im sure they have heaters set up) ive also sat at the tables that are outside but overlook the dancefloor (i think its was number 40 on the chart) and those were nice too cuz it can get hot inside but again im sure they would have heaters set up! IMO if your set on XS and they told you youll have to be outside you should try and get one of those tables that are just right outside (10-70?) rather than a cabana(the cabanas arent shown on that seating chart)

Any suggestions? I think my itinerary right now is:
        Wed: Surrender
        Thurs: Moon
        Fri: Vanity
        Sat: ?

Jilla...were you there on a Saturday? If so, was it really crowded?

Thanks for your responses Jilla/Universal. I'm going to see if I can a better idea from the host based on the floor map of where I'll most likely be placed.

Sat is XS's busiest night. You can try Tryst on sat instead... or any of the top clubs like Tao.

Saturday night is their busiest night.

Tryst and Tao would be other options to consider for Saturday. I've had some good times at The Bank as well.

You really can't go wrong on a Sat night, as all the major clubs will be packed.

I think Marquee is must for the trip.

Keep in mind though that Marquee still has a $4-5k minimum for tables all tables in the main room on Fridays and Saturdays. I'll be in Vegas Jan 21-24, and wanted to go to Marquee. But we're doing bottle service every night and the above number is what I was quoted by the JC approved host for either of those nights. Even the boom box room has a $2-3k minimum, which would be 4-6 bottles.

Yes, that is true but that is because of the new club hype. Once it dies down it will go to being regular prices like TAO. I am saying to check out Marquee is because it is the newest club and we need as many reviews on here as possible about it.

Ya, I hope to check it out on my next trip. But for a group of 8-9 people, it doesn't make much sense to go to a club without doing bottle service. Especially since I'll be paying for drinks for 5 of us. That would just be a mess. So I went with Tryst, XS, and Vanity for a Fri-Sun trip.

For Sunday, maybe change it up to LAVO???....but that's just my personal opinion.

I was hoping to do Marquee...but I was quoted 2k-3k for BS which was out of my price range for only 6 people. Really wanted to check it out though.

Not sure if it'd be worthing going to on a Saturday without doing BS. I'd think it'd have to be crazy packed right now with no places to sit down.

It is cold outside unless you are right next to the heaters! Not sure how cold guys get with shirts on....but in a strapless nightclub dress NOT comfortable!
I feel sorry for people who don't drink, when they get up in the morning, that's best they're gonna feel all day!

I actually did change to Lavo because we decided to stay at The Palazzo instead of Mandalay Bay. Contacted Donnie, he's hooking us up with B2G1 on Sunday night.
