  • When should i contact a Host?

I'm from Australia and am going to Vegas for a week in late January with 2 mates and was wondering when should i contact a host?

We plan to get bottle service for about 2 nights and the other 5 nights we hope to get on a few guest lists so we don't have to line up anywhere?

Whats the best way of going about doing that and can we contact the hosts when in Vegas or should we contact them before?

Start dialogues like 2 weeks out to get quotes on pricing etc. Book a week before I'd say, confirm day before/day of.

I'd say it's a a bit early, unless you have some huge group size. I'd say 1 month out is the earliest if you're really eager.

I usually book about 1- 1/2 months in advance. If it's available why not, but I do check up with them about 1-2 weeks before my arrival. Usually they will text you a reminder. You can never be too prepared.

A lot of people say you don't need to book that far in advance (2 weeks tops)

However, I feel a LOT more comfortable booking 2 months in advance and then following up @ 2 weeks.

The week of, I confirm on Monday, let them know when I arrive in town and 2 texts on the day I will be meeting. (one in the afternoon and one when I arrive for table service)

Always polite, always to the point and always respect their time.

I have been treated VERY well every time.

What I usually do is book about 2wks in advance tops. Follow up 3-5 days before the trip and then follow up on day of reservation and ask all the questions in 1 text (like when to arrive, any deals available, dress code, special dj etc.). I never want to bombard the host with a bunch of texts because they are busy setting up other reso's as well and their time is valuable.

Most importantly don't forget to take care of your host. When you take care of them, they will take care of you and you will get a good table location and they will bring girls to your table.

Regarding G-lists....always try to have some girls with you and have a ratio of 2 to 1 that way you won't have to wait in-line and your cover may be comped as well.
