  • Lay it out for me...

Ok, maybe I am slow, or just old (28) but I am on information overload with this vegas clubbing thing. I need someone to take pity and walk me through this!

Back in MY clubbing days, there was none of this calling ahead, getting a table, bottle service....you just showed up, either waited in line, or had your most well endowed friend show the bouncer her stuff and head in.

Then I had my kids and flash forward 6 years, I don't know WHAT to do! LOL!

I am going to Vegas Presidents day weekend, me and 2 girlfriends. I want to go to some fun clubs but nothing too crazy popular I wont even be able to move, you know?

Do we need to pick a club prior to our visit? Or when we get there?
And I should call these people to get on the list? What do I say? How far in advance?
What about these wantickets.com kind of things?

Sorry for being so inept at this! I just need some hand holding!

    PS: Happy New Year!!!

    No prob

In truth, three women should not have much of a problem getting into a good club. If you are decent looking, you stand a good chance getting invited in to a table, VIP area (all that is is a seat and it is in a more premium part of the club like near dance floor). You can call ahead to get on a guest list, but no need to secure anything with a credit card.

Yes even on a Holiday weekend Ladies run shit in Vegas nightlife, just look hot and be pleasant to the hosts and doormen.

It wouldn't hurt to contact the hosts for clubs you may be interested in. This way you can txt them when you get there or you can name drop.

ok so here is a stupid question, I think I already know the answer to. Getting on the "List" just makes it easier to get in right? Doesn't waive cover or anything right?

For girls it generally means waiving cover as well. Girls rarely pay for clubbing in Vegas.

If you are a man or a she-man it doesn't waive the cover but if you are even reasonably attractive the club wants you in there dancing.

Actually, I've texted several of the clubs both with my wife and travelling alone and was able to get on guest lists and the cover was waived. It does depend on the club...but hitting them up early then following up that night seems to work.

Oh and mentioning that you got their name from some friends you are meeting there from JackColton.com probably doesn't hurt either.

In general, if they are allowed, a polite request seems to work.
