Just how much do people really know ???

Hi all,

Just how bad a night are you likely to have at a 'Tier 2' club like Pure nowadays?

We're all lucky to have this site by Jack and stay up to date on the hottest new openings etc. I can imagine however that, on a % scale, only a small number of Vegas visitors really know where to look or where to visit.

We know that Pure (as an example) is not as hot or new anymore, it's a little dated in comparison to the Wynn clubs. However it is in Caesars, one of the more famous hotels, so I can imagine it will always attract a strong crowd as most people wouldn't necessarily know any better.

I went to Tryst recently on a Saturday, it was ok (at best), full of Asians who aren't really my type. I am debating going to Pure on a Friday night soon with my guys and doing table service. I can imagine I could get a decent bottle deal and a decent table at Pure in the White Room for the same money I'd get a very average table at Tryst or similar (bang for your buck). As like any other set of guys, we're looking for pretty girls.

So my question: is it true to say that all the most attractive women that fly into Vegas for the w/e are very knowledgeable and only likely to visit the likes of XS, Tryst, Surrender etc ? Or is it equally likely that the likes of Pure will still attract a pretty crowd, even if they are no longer the best club in town ?

The short answer is you WONT have a bad night at Pure. There will still be a bunch of people and as you said, most don't know any better and actually dont care for the hassle of the absolute best club on the best night etc. I really think that is relative terminology anyway to be honest.

At the end of the day, Vegas is huge and there are thousands of people. Everyone cant fit into the same club...and even if they could, sometimes you just dont want that. (Tao on Thurs nights lately, haha)

I always had a good time at ''Tier 2'' clubs. On my last trip I been to LAX and Studio 54 both places wasn't necessarily ''popping'' as XS or TAO but still had bunch of people from all over the world, attractive girls, good party atmosphere. And if you already really buzzed you really don't care where you at in most cases. lol

At the end you are still in Vegas, all the clubs you will consider as ''Tier 2'' in Vegas will be a really popping place if they were in your hometown (well unless if you are from major places like NY, LA etc. )

You are going out to have fun and forget about the stress in your life. Stressing too much about which club you gonna party is not necessary.

Last time I was in Vegas I ended up landing in Rok in NYNY. Not even on the radar of most people, but we had a f-in BLAST in there (definitely helped by the "free vodka drinks for ladies" deal they had that night). Gems are everywhere, you just have to have a blast with it.

I was at Pure yesterday and didn't have as much fun as I had the night before at Revolution lounge. Maybe the open bar or me getting my fingers wet added to that fun but I've come to the conclusion that I tend to have more fun in clubs/lounges that has space for me to dance.

I went to PURE tuesday and saturday .... I had a blast both times..although on saturday it was a bit hectic with vanessa hudgens being there...i had to wait in the guestlist line for like 20 min...which i was surprised since my group consisted of 12 girls and 4 guys...normally they let us right in everywhere we guestlist...but as the door guy was telling us as we were waiting there was just too many people that night there wanting to see her...after some mix ups and stuff we got in everyone got comp'd and the girls even got a free drink.


PURE has always been a good time though...if you are really into dancing dont go on main dance floor, go to the other room...it is always a little bit less crowded and it has just as good a vibe

Crowds fluctuate all the time with anything affecting it, any big concerts, conferences, conventions all have big effects on the crowd. If a big party of a certain demographic happens to pick the club you go to, how you see that "crowd" of that night will be influenced by that group. I've heard from people that pure was great and then another weekend it was filled with guys.

I've always had fun where ever i go as well, especially if Vegas in general is really busy.

I am taking a bunch of girls for a 21st B-day party next month. As far as getting into the "IN" clubs-who cares? Just want to be able to move/dance/breathe/drink freely with as little hassle as possible. Coming in from a town with population 1200--ANYTHING is going to be more fun than the local VFW!

Gonna be heading to Vegas in about a month and landing around 11pm on a Friday, and after the airport, cab, checkin, etc., and then getting ready (her, not me ) I'm figuring on it being closer to 1:30ish. Me and the lady are gonna be staying at Caesars and I was planning on hitting up Tryst or Surrender, but if we're feeling a little tired then Pure might be a convenient backup. Are we able to hit up the concierge to get stamped or any sort of "special treatment" for being hotel guests? The rest of the trip we'll be doing bottles or going through hosts but since the first night is gonna be dependent on how we're feeling plus it'll be late, the answer to that question might decide the destination.

Right on, Pure still packs in people. There will be girls. And you will get more bang for your buck. Better table more bottles. Same number of bottles for much less. Pure will offer some kind of bottle deal... the top clubs... not so much.

concierge will try to sell you a pass but never hurts to ask them to give it to you. But because of getting there so late, the passes will be no good anyways. At 1:30-2am, my guess is you probably would not have trouble getting the two of you in.
