  • Delayed Booking

    Hi everyone!

I'll try and keep this short...

A buddy of mine is having his stag/bachelor do in Vegas but we have hit a bit of a snag in terms of being able to book it.

The only time we can go is from Feb 17-21 and we had it all organised to book it by tomorrow. However, it turns out the stag may not be able to make it (50/50) and we will only find out in the middle of January whether the trip is possible. With this in mind the majority of the guys weren't happy booking now and taking the risk of going on a stag do without the main man!! Fair enough really.

Sooooo... My question is really whether booking mid/late January would be too late to get everything booked. There's a fair number approx 15 people and we had rooms at Caesar's and direct flights. I'm worried that 1) we won't be able to get rooms 2) we won't be able to get direct flights 3) it'll cost a load more than now (We were all sorted for £749 p/p for 4 nights)

The second part is that we obviously wanted to sort out a couple of nights out with bottle service, etc. I thought this may be too late notice?

Any opinions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance.

The travel stuff like flights not really much help ya especially as it looks like you're coming from overseas. There will be rooms available, maybe not a specific hotel at specific low prices, but you'll be able to find something decent. Flight prices is the uncertainty.

As for nightlife, no worries there. Just start thinking you where you might want to go on what nights. A week or two, even a few days before is mostly fine for getting tables.

You all can also take out some sort of travel insurance that covers cancellations.

I already booked rooms for that same weekend. I usually like to book early if I find a deal because most places let you cancel 3 days before the trip. So if I were to find a better deal after I can still do that as well.

Well first of all, if you want to stay at Caesar's there's a 25% off special for those 4 dates. You can cancel them and get a full refund as long as you cancel before 72 hours of your arrival date. The first thing you should do is book your hotel. It's usually cheaper to book hotel and flight separately anyways. That way you're guaranteed rooms, and don't have to worry about that part, and worst case scenario, you cancel them and get a full refund.

          Here's the 25% Off Promo

Flights I find are the cheapest about 1.5 months - 2 months ahead so you might want to figure that part out as soon as possible.

Hope that helps at least a little. Cheers!
