  • Vdara 2-Story 2 Bedroom Penthouse Question

Has anyone had a chance to stay in/check out the Vdara 2-Story 2 Bedroom Penthouse Suite? I'm looking to class it up with a group for a buddy's Bachelor party beyond our normal Signature 1-Bedroom/Junior Suite combo and this seems like a good option. The video on Vdara's site is of a 2-Story 1-Bedroom so I can't really get a feel for how much open/common space there is downstairs; it seems like from the floorplans that other Vdara suites are a little closed off in order to have the dining room/kitchen. I'm looking for plenty of space for us to congregate but still have the 3 total beds. We're not going to be throwing any parties in there so it's really just for our comfort and enjoyment.

Thanks for any help, I've really enjoyed checking out this board since I found it a couple days ago.

You won't be staying in the room much....you are in Vegas. I would just save the money, get the usual room at MGM Signature and spend the money saved on clubbing.

Thanks, but I'd really like to give him that Vegas suite experience (without shelling out $2k a night) so this seems like a good option but I hate going in sight unseen. We'll be there 5 days so there will definitely be some downtime in the room.

Maybe go for a PH towers 2bd suite. They are much cheaper and are really nice.

I don't remember any members posting that they've stayed at Vdara 2BR suites...
Have you looked on youtube? There's various vdara 2BR suite videos. Not sure it's it's 2 story like what you're asking for though.

Thanks Drew, actually YouTube is what scared me a bit. This was the only 2-story video I could find and he went by the downstairs living area pretty quickly. It almost seems like the TV/couch area is cut down at the expense of having the dining room table and then frankly a bunch of empty space near the front door by the half bath.

Isn't Vdara the no-gaming, no smoking= no fun joint? I think they have condos there too. Sounds like it might need to be a quiet bachelor party...

Thanks guys, I've been sufficiently scared off from Vdara so we're going with the Cosmopolitan Wraparound Terrace/1 Bedroom Terrace combo instead. It's a little scary with the place not being open yet but here's hoping they deliver on what they're putting out there now.

Southwest Vacations has some really good deals on the Cosmopolitan going with flights, so the two rooms ended up being a total of $2,467.38 for 4 nights over Super Bowl weekend (Thur-Mon).

What I can recoomend is the 2br penthouse suite at Aria.
I stayed there with Nas last May for the invasion and it really is a sick suite.

I read about City Center's money troubles in the WSJ not long ago. They were considering closing some properties to cut costs and I thought Vdara was on that list.

I haven't stayed at PH Towers (stayed at PH) but had them on my list once and they seemed great for the price.
