Dec 2-7 trip report
Well where do I begin I haven't even left Vegas yet and kind of miss it lol. The main purpose of this trip which was to run the las Vegas half marathon but alot more came out of it.
Thursday Dec.2
Get into to Vegas at 10 am and get our luggage and then wait in the cab line for 30 mins never seen so many wannabe cowboys here for the NFR. So after that quickly check into the Hard rock hotel and get a room in the paradise tower the room was pretty nice only bad thing about the room is way to dark. We head to aria to pick up our cirque du solei tickets we were gonna see O,KA,Zumanity did a little gambling after that tried my luck at craps won a little but nothing to brag about.
Start getting hungry so start off with the belliago buffet it was pretty good but just ate way to much. Head back to the room and get ready for the night since I was here to run I wasnt going to drink till Sunday but that is alot easier said then done. Ka was the first show to see it was pretty good then what was suppose to be early night for me wasn't went back to try some more gambling and was thinking 1 beer won't hurt right? So had one beer and another and another they go done pretty easy when your winning so befor u know it I'm 6 beers down so I feel like going out now I have 2 days to rehydrate befor the race so everything should be good. Go try to get into to tao but it was busy as hell and didn't wanna wait in line forever so decided to try hit up tryst so I text Ryan Perrings asking how tryst is ask if any way to get in he says no prob just tell the guy at ropes ryans gonna take of u. I get in no prob no wait and no cover so things are going good Hmmm what to drink it's about time I get to Try one of these AMF wow those things can be dangerous I seen how much alcohol they put in them. Here I'm thinking this is gonna taste to strong but they were amazing so after a couple more of those hitthe dance floor and befor u know it's already 3:30 so I start to leave and hear all this noise coming from the crap tables so head over put money down ask how the table is doing everybody is saying Doug pretty good so put most of my money Down and befor u know the hot shooter that is hitting all the right numbers 7's out FML. So gamble the rest of it then head back to The room but not befor I get my $4.99 steak and eggs from mr luckys then i finally pass out in the room
