one giant bet one time isn't going to get you the comps you may expect. Be listed as a $10,000 player for 1 minute of play doesn't really work well for the computers.
Don't get me wrong, you will get the attention of the casino, but don't expect free rooms and having hosts falling all over you. The casino odds favor the player that will play for hours a day.
If you going to put all that on red, at least find a table that has only one zero. Oh, and believe it or not, the tables have no memory, so don't be fooled that because its black 10 times in a row, its 'due' to be red. Some may say the odds are better that is black on the next spin since its already hit 10 times in a row, but in reality it makes no difference. Its been proven that casino's profits on roulette are higher when the boards are working versus when they are not.

It's not going to be a matter of casinos competing with each other to get your bet, it's going to be you trying to find a casino that will actually let you do it.
Casinos don't like or want one-time big bettors, especially at high limits. Most will just tell you the max bet is $1-2k and straight up refuse to let you put $10k on one spin.
If you do find a casino that will take it, one spin won't get you any comps. If you lose you might be able to get the cocktail waitress to bring you another round out of sympathy, but that's about it. If you win, the casino's reaction will basically be "bet again, or GTFO."
If you really want a suite and dinner and show tickets, just spend your $10k on THAT.

the way they get your rating is amount of bet and how long you play... and how much you buy in... so.. keep that in mind..Mikey T

$10k would be a hell of rush in placing a single bet! I would rather buy in for chips and enjoy my time at the table and get some free drinks in the process...2012 Travel Itinerary

This is definitely a ballsy bet. Good luck man!
I hear you on the 10k, but how much do you actually plan to bet after that, win or lose?-WarreN aka "The Business"

With a 10k bankroll, I would usually buy chips on the inside, either $25 a chip or $100 a chip. If you do $25 a chip you'll obviously have more chips and will be able to bide your time more effectively.
Plus, if you have 1 $25 bet that hits straight on the inside, that's +850.

You get comped based on your expected losses (about 1/3 to 1/4 of them).
So, if you make a $10k bet on roulette with a house edge of 1/36 ~2.8%, the house can expect to make, on average, $280 from your wager.
You will probably get about $80 back in comps if you were demanding, and maybe as little as a $50 food comp (2 buffets?)

I'd hope that kind of play would get you a new comped pair of shorts

If you win that one spin you will get no comps - unless a host wants to keep you in the hotel because you might bet again.
If you lose you will get comps. Comps are based on two things 1) your expected loss = average amount of bet x hours of play x number of hands per hour x house edge. 2) your actual loss. If you play big and quick and lose, casinos look at your actual loss instead of your expected loss.
On the bright side, if you win, you wont need any comps anyways.
