think I'm gettin to old for this

So last night I meet a co-worker at a fun dive bar , my first
Time there. Its one of those bars with beer pong tables, pool tables, shuffle board and video
Games, darts . All kinds of stuff to keep you entertained. I get there and I would say 95% of the people look like they just turned 21. Now I just turned 31 so Im kind of in the middle where part of me feels like it's cool and part of me feels like I'm to old for this shit. So to help raise my tolerance for loud obnoxious young punks I started shootin patron and jäger bombs. Starting to feel good I'm over by the shuffle board table when I see this girl pick up a shuffle board puck and hurl it at a guy sitting down. If you don't know what a shuffle board puck is it's a little smaller then a hockey puck and solid steel. So this puck makes a bee line right to the side of his head splitting this dude wide open. I was like holy shit! Nobody else noticed but me , everybody kept dancin LOL. I handed him a wad of napkins and security got a towel. Cops arrested the girl and want me to be a witness. Great. That's one way to start your holiday weekend.

No shit! I feel like that a lot, but here in Canada.. I'm surrounded by 18 year olds.. though I am only 25, it's still a pretty big age/maturity difference.

A part of me always feels too old (I'm 37) when I go out because I remember making fun of people like me when I was younger...LOL. But I just say the hell with it and have fun without trying to act like I'm still 18.

I'm right there with you, I just turned 31 as well. It's a weird middle ground, too young yet for the quiet, old man bars yet too old for a loud, crazy bar with a dancefloor packed so tight you couldn't bust a move even if you wanted to anymore, lol.

Woot woot woot woot last night I went to a local childrens cancer research fundraiser at a local nightclub and in one of the rooms there was a casino set up with black jack craps and roulette. 1st place wins a plasma and 2nd place wins VIP bottle service. My magical skills at the blackjack table won me second place ! Yeeeeaaaaaaaaa boyeeeeeeee (flava flave howel)! What a nice contrast from Thursday night. Helped a good cause what a win win!

I can't agree with this.. I love shuffle board. You just have to up the situational awareness in those spots, and not piss any crazy girls off!
