It would actually be refreshing for the email to go something like "I was first in my class at passing out coupons and am looking to move to Las Vegas to further my career." haha.

I applaud their job-seeking efforts and wish them the best, but you don't go to school for four years to try and work your way up to a hosting job. Or to apply as a cocktail waitress. Or as security. Marketing departments aren't going to hire you if you don't know anything about this market, and you can't exactly apply to own a club. The list goes on.

We used to hire promoters all the time back at Seven, who had several degrees, to get paid $1 a pass to bring people into the club. I understand getting a job to make ends meet, but they'd seriously be doing it to get into the industry! What the eff! haha
