First time organizing trip 4 guys 12/10-13

Usually we have one friend that organizes every vegas trip but it looks like he wont be able to make it so I have to step up to the plate. I just usually go along with whats planned and never pay attention to the details so any help would be great.

Ideally we would want to take it easy and get tables 2 of the 3 nights (fri + sat) but I have seen a few threads about b1g1 on bottles, so what clubs are we able to get that at and on which days?

As for Friday and Saturday I remember going to xs, tao, tryst and haze the last two trips and they were all fun but what do you guys think are the best clubs for each day.

Last but not least, when finding a host to contact should I just go to the front page or go through theHost Appreciation Thread (any idea on the average tip we should give him).

Have you tried contacting any of the hosts on the main page yet? From what I know the popular spots don't have b1g1 most of the times on Fri/Sat, but Thurs or Sun it can be possible. Best bet is to figure out where you want to go, and contact 2-3 different hosts per venue to see what they would offer.

Getting b1g1 deals on Fri and Sat I would is impossible at any of the Tier1 clubs. You could get it places like Pure, LAX, Vanity?....and those deal would probably be a b2g1.

For Friday I would do Surrender and for Saturday I would go to Tryst. Regarding hosts, you can pick em' from either host appreciation thread and front page.

If the host takes care of you well, meaning greets you infront of club, walks you, and gives you a good table location...the average tip would be $100 per bottle.

Take it from someone who has planned his fair share of bachelor parties and just finished putting together one this past fall and another Vegas outing for New Years. Both these trips were for a group slightly larger than yours.

First order of business: You need to decide what type of evening you want to have.

To put it frankly, "Bottle Service" has a high degree of variability.

You could end up stuck in the lame corner of some dingy club, dodging grenades and land mines and pissed to high heaven that you wasted money to visit such a forsaken place

OR....

You could end up at a sick table with a killer view, plenty of room, and a prime seat to watch attractive women dance on stripper poles all while grooving with several lovely vixens who will partake with you in some sweet and sugary libation.

Note (If you picked option 1, stop reading this. You don't belong in Vegas)

All BS aside if you have a trip, and you are in charge, you need to PLAN YOUR TRIP and then WORK THAT PLAN.

What are your goals?

Drinking heavily, women, fun, food, shows, strippers?

Sick tables or bigger dancefloors?

Puking in a suite or a trashcan?

Prioritze and then plan.


You havent said how much you want to spend. What is your groups budget?

If you want to go out 2 nights with full table service, prepare for a mildly expensive weekend.


You need to figure out what your group hopes to accomplish and cover your bases because you might need a plan B at somepoint.


I am guessing you came here mainly for bottle serivce info so here is my 2cents on that.

-Usually it is a 1:4 deal for bottle service (1 bottle for 4 guys)

-It is past peak season so that kind of deal should not be a problem.

-You should book in advance with your host. Every host I have talked to says 1-2 weeks is nice. Further out than 2 weeks is not necessary.

- Make sure your host is giving you EXACTY what you book or what you want. BE SPECIFIC

Why so paranoid you say? Often times you will get quoted for a bottle min. Say 2 bottles for 6 people. That does NOT always mean that your table will fit 6 people. You need to make it VERY CLEAR to your host how many "seats" you want.

More seating room = a larger bottle commitment.

and if you guys are single and want to bring back some ladies then you need to consider the space that will require as well.

You don't want to be in a group of unhappy guys crowded into a section that fits half your party and realize you paid a couple grand for it. (at least I wouldn't)


- You will need one credit card to charge for the night. Don't give this out until you are shown your seats and you are comfortable with them.


- Clubs..

Stick to the majors

Tryst is freaking awsome for Friday or Saturday. XS is THE club, but you will endure crazy crowds and pay a premium for it. Tao is nice but kind of crowded. The Palms had great venues.

My favorite vegas club recipe looks like this

Friday

10:30 - 12:00 ........... Ghostbar
12:00 - 2:00 ............ Rain
2:30 - 7am ............. Drais (Table)

Saturday

Club hop at the Wynn or Venetian

Make this your big night.

You could hit up the Venetian and visit either Tao or Lavo. If you were going post December, you could hit up the new Marquee.

or
You could visit the Wynn and go to Surrender, XS or Tryst


Best plans are:

Option A

9:30pm - 10:30 pm .......... Lavo
10:45 - 4am.............. Tao (table) and check in by 10:45.

Option B

9:00pm - 10:00pm - Surrender (no table)
10:15 - 3am - Tryst (Table) will be easier to get in and cheaper than XS.
3am - 5am - XS (easier to get in once crowds have died down and you may get discounted admin if you are good to your host).

or you could swap XS with Surrender and check it out early or you could say F$% It and go big at XS.

Your choice. Point is that either of these plans put you at clubs that have close proximity to each other.

Finally, here are some critical guidlines to remember about this trip


1.) Read the HOST APPRECIATION THREAD. The trustworthy names will pop up again and again. Trust those guys.

2.) I am a firm believer in having a solid base of operations. You have a decent sized group. Split the bill and stay at a decent place. Palms and PH Tower have great deals on "guy weekend" type rooms. On the upper end, Wynn, Ceasars and Venetain (Palazzo is my fav) are AWESOME.

3.) MONEY. Whatever you plan, I am guessing your credit card will be appearing on the hotel bill and bar tab.

Collect ALL your money BEFORE you leave. This holds especially true if you are getting bottle service.

4.) If you are driving, bring bottles of your favorite poison for the hotel. If flying, buy them at a local store in Vegas (not hard to find)

Pregaming saves money and extends your buzz by 10 hours.

5.) Watch each others backs. Make sure your friends don't run out in to traffic or piss off the monster NFL linebacker who happens to be drinking next to you or decide to get a Tatoo on their ass.

You are going to have to be the lifeguard of the group. Hopefully, your friends will return the favor.

Note (this doesnt mean you have to go to the bathroom with each other) but if your buddy is thinking about taking off by himself to this "really cool afterhours club" he heard about, and he isn't refering to Drais, you have to haul his azz in so he doesn't get robbed or raped or worse.

Watch each others backs.

Anyway, Those are the GUIDELINES, but simply that. Guidelines.
