Vegas hotel recommendations for 5-6 people

I second (or third) this. We had 5 guys in one last month and it was perfect. Booked it through the hotel's website at $225 a night (tax & resort fee included); cheap ($90 a man for 2 nights) and spacious. Also good location for XS/TRYST. Would stay here again.Originally posted by nighthawk06si View Postyup highly recommend that.Originally posted by partyrock View PostThe Bella Suites at the Palazzo or Venetian would be a good choice. 2 Queen beds and a foldout L-Shaped couch. Venetian is about 700 sqft and the Palazzo is about 720 sqft. Palazzo is newer and slightly bigger, but Venetian is definitely one of the best hotels in Vegas. Have stayed at both this year and you can't go wrong with either in my opinion.Originally posted by GL4662 View Posthi guys!

How would you compare the PH Towers 2 BR suite to the set up you do at Signature? Prices are pretty similar (Sig is $100 more over 3 days). Will have 5-6 guysOriginally posted by JuneBug View Posti hear ya bro but the great thing about the suite is it has a balcony. we have several smokers in our group as well, and the balcony is a huge plus for us because of that very reason.Originally posted by Bababooey323 View PostThis interested me until I read it's in a non-smoking, non-gambling environment.Originally posted by JuneBug View PostMGM Signature Towers hands down.....
we do it every year, 4-6 guys, 1 bedroom suite with adjoining efficiency. the one bedroom has two full bathrooms and a full kitchen, sub-zero fridge, jacuzzi tub, king size bed, pull out couch, the efficiency has pull out couch and king size bed as well, also kitchenette.
you have a double door entrance to a small foyer then sepparate doors to each of the rooms. we keep the inside doors propped open and just walk between as needed.
we just booked our rooms for next may 20th(friday)-23rd(sunday)
1 bedroom rates fri & sat - $269, sunday $149
efficiency rates fri & sat - $169, sunday $99
that total is $1124 b4 taxes, divided by 4 guys for us this year is $281 plus taxes for 3 nights in a pimp suite WITH A BALCONY!!! (one of the only hotels on the strip with balconies)
by the way you also get your own gated entrance and we NEVER have waited in line for a cab, plus when you get back late night from the clubs or whatever, the door attendents give you bottles of water....nice lil perk.
so for 5-6 guys its even cheaper, definitely check it out http://www.signaturemgmgrand.com
the only thing id suggest is seeing if you can "request" Tower 1 as its the closest walk to the main casino and the main pool areas......btw, if you havent been yet, the lazy river is where its at in the summer months.....also they have Wet Republic....
good luck! if you want those rates above id call NOW though.....
now w/ respect to gambling, the towers are a short walk (10-15mins) depending on which tower your in back to the casino. there is a long walkway/tunnel which connects the towers to the rest of the MGM Grand, you are actually in very close proximity to the pool area, and as well, the shopping/food/casino area is a relatively short walk from there (relatively short for Vegas standards that is! LOL).
at any rate, like everyhwere else as soon as your in a common area, smoking is permitted, that includes the walk from the towers.
if you do a googlemaps search for MGM Grand and look at the satellite image & zoom in you can see for yourself where the towers are in proximity to the rest of the hotel/casino.....
let me know what you think.....believe me its worth your while to at least check it out.
The advantages I see for Sig is the extra bathroom and the balcony.
The advantages I see for PH is the ability to upgrade to the Penthouse relatively easy (at least per the forums) and the sick HD projector.
Location on the strip seems like a wash but PH towers seems better connected to its sister hotel

Mandalay Bay has several suites that accomodate up to 6 people and somehow we still got them to provide us 2 rollaway beds up in the 1500 X3 Suite so we will have enough bed capacity for 8 people (2 ladies to a bed on the 2 doubles and 1 king, 1 on each roll away, I know some guys wouldn't be so keen on sharing beds). Price will break down to just under $200 for each lady for 3 nights Fri-Monday May 20-23
All their room options are available at: http://www.mandalaybay.com/accommodations/

Good choice, IMO. Mirage rooms have been updated recently and it's a great location. Also some solid restaurant options on property, strong regular pool, and Bare can be a lot of fun on the right day.Originally posted by GL4662 View PostI ended up with a reservation at the MGM signature, but canceled and did the Tower 1 two bedroom suite at the Mirage because we wanted to be more central on the strip, any comments?

nope. both are solid choices. Mirage is great for the easy walk to wynn/encore/venetian/palazzo clubsOriginally posted by GL4662 View PostI ended up with a reservation at the MGM signature, but canceled and did the Tower 1 two bedroom suite at the Mirage because we wanted to be more central on the strip, any comments?

What we just did was book a bungalow suite and a regular room at MGM. They should be able to easily get them as adjoining rooms. They have pretty decent deals on them too.

We've done 5 people in a sap suite in Luxor, which I do NOT recommend. The suite in THEhotel though was perfect for it if one person doesn't mind sleeping on the couch. It has an extra 1/2 bath, which is freakin awesome.
Next trip, we will be 6 girls in a 2 bedroom suite in PH Towers Westgate. It works out to like $200 a person, so not bad at all and I've heard good things.

[quote=JuneBug;104471]Just got back from a stay in the MGM Signature. King size bed, queen pullout, balcony, and kitchenette. From tower 2 it was 6-8 minutes to the casino floor, since you have to go through Studio Walk to get there, which means all the food options are also close. The hotel says 4 to a room, so cots are probably out of the question.Originally posted by Bababooey323 View Posti hear ya bro but the great thing about the suite is it has a balcony. we have several smokers in our group as well, and the balcony is a huge plus for us because of that very reason.Originally posted by JuneBug View PostMGM Signature Towers hands down.....
