we do it every year, 4-6 guys, 1 bedroom suite with adjoining efficiency. the one bedroom has two full bathrooms and a full kitchen, sub-zero fridge, jacuzzi tub, king size bed, pull out couch, the efficiency has pull out couch and king size bed as well, also kitchenette.

you have a double door entrance to a small foyer then sepparate doors to each of the rooms. we keep the inside doors propped open and just walk between as needed.

we just booked our rooms for next may 20th(friday)-23rd(sunday)
    1 bedroom rates fri & sat - $269, sunday $149
    efficiency rates fri & sat - $169, sunday $99

that total is $1124 b4 taxes, divided by 4 guys for us this year is $281 plus taxes for 3 nights in a pimp suite WITH A BALCONY!!! (one of the only hotels on the strip with balconies)

by the way you also get your own gated entrance and we NEVER have waited in line for a cab, plus when you get back late night from the clubs or whatever, the door attendents give you bottles of water....nice lil perk.

so for 5-6 guys its even cheaper, definitely check it out http://www.signaturemgmgrand.com

the only thing id suggest is seeing if you can "request" Tower 1 as its the closest walk to the main casino and the main pool areas......btw, if you havent been yet, the lazy river is where its at in the summer months.....also they have Wet Republic....

good luck! if you want those rates above id call NOW though.....
    This interested me until I read it's in a non-smoking, non-gambling environment.
i hear ya bro but the great thing about the suite is it has a balcony. we have several smokers in our group as well, and the balcony is a huge plus for us because of that very reason.

now w/ respect to gambling, the towers are a short walk (10-15mins) depending on which tower your in back to the casino. there is a long walkway/tunnel which connects the towers to the rest of the MGM Grand, you are actually in very close proximity to the pool area, and as well, the shopping/food/casino area is a relatively short walk from there (relatively short for Vegas standards that is! LOL).

at any rate, like everyhwere else as soon as your in a common area, smoking is permitted, that includes the walk from the towers.

if you do a googlemaps search for MGM Grand and look at the satellite image & zoom in you can see for yourself where the towers are in proximity to the rest of the hotel/casino.....

let me know what you think.....believe me its worth your while to at least check it out.

Residential bedroom at the Palms Place in October of this year ... We had a king-size bed, sofa bed and retreat gave us two beds.
sized standard suites, like Venetian, Palazzo, The Hotel at Mandalay, and Superbowl

i stayed in a one bedroom suite at the palms place this october...we had one king size bed, one queen size pullout couch and they gave us 2 cots. it came to 200 per person for 3 nights (friday-sunday) very nice room with full kitchen, fireplace, and 2 balconies! only problem was that it was off the strip!

Im planning a trip to vegas in may and am wondering if you guys had any recommendations on a suite that would fit 5-6 people?

    Thanks!
The Bella Suites at the Palazzo or Venetian would be a good choice. 2 Queen beds and a foldout L-Shaped couch. Venetian is about 700 sqft and the Palazzo is about 720 sqft. Palazzo is newer and slightly bigger, but Venetian is definitely one of the best hotels in Vegas. Have stayed at both this year and you can't go wrong with either in my opinion.
    yup highly recommend that.

Just pick any good hotel. They all pretty much have adjoining rooms.

5-6 guys in one room is gonna be a tight fit - - there's a few spots on the Strip that offer very generously sized standard suites, like Venetian, Palazzo, and TheHotel at Mandalay Bay, but even those max comfortably at 4 guys.

I'd recommend splitting it up between two rooms - - hotels will generally be able to locate 2 adjoining.

Suites that fit 5-6 people are expensive. It'd be cheaper to get multiple rooms that connect. But i mean if you insist, there's a few options.

You can try the MGM Signature suites, or if you want something with a better location and cheaper, I'd go with the Planet Hollywood Westgate Towers.

You can find some deals at http://www.mycheapvegas.com

    Cheers!
