I know there is management coming from Drais Hollywood, and several local Vegas clubs. The partners involved are notorious for a great club environment so I would expect nothing less than the best.

Stevie D and Cy Waits are partners, like I said both huge names in the nightclub business.


FYI I delivered some equipment to Chateau/Sugar Factory, they're sound system is amazing. For those of you who know the Paris, you'll be able to hear the club music all the way from Le Boulevard, and it sounds awesome.

These hotels currently offer the best nightlife destinations in my opinion.

These are also by far the best hotels on the strip as well..

with that said..



big venues thrive off hotel guests.. you must have them to be successful.. they create the majority of your general admission..

will these hotels produce the type of person that will create a party atmosphere?

thats the key question..

everything from what i ahve been told has failed at these 2 hotels.. so im a bit skeptical of how well they will do..

Ceaser's is still high on the list? Really? Not being rude, I just assumed that Pure had lost a lot of its fire in the past two years.

I agree 100% though, if the hotels don't market themselves for the people who are the key demographics to the clubs, I can't imagine them lasting incredibly long. I'm surprised LAX and Jet are still as operational as they are considering the demographics of their respective hotel patrons, in my opinion.

Planet Hollywood has a much younger vibe but I remember the shit show that was Prive.

Curious to see how the one at Paris works out.

Yes XS, Haze, Tao, etc are the big names on the strip, and yes Paris and Planet Hollywood have had their share of nightclub failures, but to be fair Risque, Prive, and the other clubs I cant remember that were in those spaces were poorly managed, and poorly promoted.

Both of those problems will be fixed with the new staff, and when was the last time that Stevie D or Cy Waits opened a club that flopped? Don't believe a nightclub can survive in a hotel not suited to nightclub going guests? Drais in bills has been around for quite a while, and has been successful enough to warrant a 2nd club in Hollywood. I think we can all agree that Bill's doesn't cater to the nightclub guest.

Being a vendor to most nightclubs and casinos in Las Vegas, it's easy to get an idea of what operations will fall apart and which will be around for awhile, bottom line the physical club is on par with XS and Haze, the management is as good if not better, and I have no doubt this club will be as successful as any in vegas.

drais is not a fair comparison considering vegas drais is striclty after hours

and drais hollywood is in the W, one of the nicest, newest hotels in hollywood


pure is not an elite club, but they still have major events, still at the moment have a relevant industry night and are placed in an elite high end hotel

and as far as cy waits goes, i have yet to hear 1 confirmation that he is attached.. I have heard numerous directors say he has nothing to do with it..

So we shall see

I feel like people give Cy Waits far too much credit. I mean, I'm sure he's great at running a club, but at the end of the day, he was just given the job of running the Wynn clubs, I'm sure they'd have done just as well if someone else had run them. I don't know the guy, or what he really does though so I could be wrong.

i was thinking exactly the same, they're gonna have to do a helluva marketing job to get bodies in Chateau considering I've NEVER seen anyone that even reMOTEly looked like they were headed to a club in all the 20+ times I've stayed at Paris. (i think its the cobblestones, they're a turn off to girls in heels, lol). but i'm really hoping they have some success with these, because I loved me some Prive. also hoping that at least one is sorta dedicated to hip hop/rap/etc but i don't have my hopes too high on that one
