Aria Vs Encore

Hi All,

I have booked the Corner Suite at Aria for an amazing rate (with $100 resort credit), but with all the negative comments out there, I am tempted to switch to Encore Resort King which is cheaper (plus 2 comp buffets).

I am going with a bunch of friends, so we are just looking for a nice decent room/hotel. We are there from Dec 25-29, looking to party a bit as well.

Any thoughts?

Encore is sick, but after a quick look on the Aria website the Corner suite is 200sq ft bigger which if there's a couple of you would probably be nice. How many of you are there gonna be in the room? You aren't really gonna fit more than two in the Encore King rooms as the couch doesn't fold out.

I'd go with encore without a doubt. There service is way better from what I've read. I stayed at aria there regular room and the service was horrible. And the electronics in the room can get buggy sometimes. Had to call the technician to reset everything lol. And the location of encore is better imo

My last stay was at Encore and it ruined me for other hotels. I'm giving Vdara a chance for New Years this year (mainly because I couldn't get a room at Encore at a decent rate)...we'll see how that goes.

Encore is way better than Aria, encore for sure. Or how about planet hollywood westgate towers for better price and location.

Encore all the way. Stayed there in '08 and it was amazing. Customer service is awesome, too unlike Aria. I had an issue about something about them not having the room available I booked, so the manager came out and gave me a comp upgrade to parlor suite for the price I paid for the reg. room.

Haven't stayed at Aria yet, but Encore was nice when I stayed there 1 1/2 yrs ago. I guess it'd also depend on where you'd prefer to be on the Strip. As much as I liked Encore, I'd still rather stay at P-HO.

I'd pick Encore. I have not stayed at Aria, but walking through it didn't get me very excited. Rather blah to me.

Great decision and great deal! I actually stayed in a Corner Suite at Aria in July of this year and it was decent. Overall I am not a fan of the hotel and the service is absolutely awful. I stayed at Encore over Halloween weekend and have never been more impressed with a hotel! The place is amazing, the staff is amazing, just a great experience. Staying at Encore again for NYE weekend and am so excited to be back there. Definitely the best hotel in Vegas! (looking forward to the Cosmopolitan opening up though!!)
