  • Need Help. Group Size Blew Up & Now Vegas Planning for 22-25 People?!?

I think I might have screwed my self in this event planning. I'm really stressed over the logistics of the weekend.

In an earlier thread I had requested help trying to plan a Vegas weekend Dec. 10 - 13 Weekend for my Wife and a Friend's 30th Birthdays. I originally thought it would be 12-15 people. But now it's kind of blown up. And I have 22 confirmed (13Women/9Men - Ages 24-32) with airfare purchased and most likely 3-5 more.

Friday night everyone gets in at a different time, but most all are in by 10 PM. We are staying in Caesars.

Friday night we're looking for a place that is like a lounge were everyone can meet up, catch up, with hip-hop/top 40 music, but not so insanely loud people can still have a conversation.

It would be good if my group didn't have to wait in line or perhaps even pay cover to get in, though I don't know how that could work because we wouldn't all just show up at the same time.

Something in walking distance of Caesars would be optimal, but not a requirement.

    Any suggestions?

Saturday night we're looking for a club with hip-hop/top 40 music, but not so insanely crowded that you can't move around the club. I think I will just PM a bunch of hosts here to see what they can do for me. but if anyone has any specific recommendations for a group this large on a saturday night, it would be great.

Anyway to get this size group in without doing bottle service, or having to wait in a line?

Sunday night more than half the crew is gone. We'll be down to 9-10. The 2 people who are celebrating their birthdays are still in town... so I think sunday night we're definately do bottle service. And hope to get a great deal that I have heard about some getting.

This was going to be crazy, now it's just stressful. Thanks for the ProTips

EDIT: We're up to 27-30 People...

Friday, I think V-Bar at the Venetian would be a good idea for you guys.

For Sat, I would say do bottle service, with size of your group I'm sure some places will give you deals, and you can put the girls on the hosts guestlist so that way they don't count towards the minimum. You can probably get away with a 4bottle min??

For Sunday, Vanity, LAVO, XS, or The Bank are the choices. DonnieLAVO is a host at LAVO and a member here, so he answer question regarding bottle prices/minimums. Let us know if you got anymore questions.

        Friday I agree try V-Bar.

Saturday I would go to The Palms and get wristbands if you don't want to have to get tables and assure everyone gets in despite being there at the same time. Just warn people to get there a little earlier so you won't have to wait so long. Otherwise you're looking at a couple tables or a wait plus you have 3 clubs close by to split into just in case someone starts to whine about music or surroundings.

Sunday if you're looking for great bottle service try Blush or Surrender. Just talk to MikeyT I'm sure he can hook something up for you guys and you'll have a great night.

It's going to be a big enough challenge just to get 25 people to show up in the same place at the same time, let alone into a nightclub as a single group. With that in mind I would keep it all within walking distance of Caesars just to make sure everyone actually shows up.

                  Friday
-Shadow Bar at Caesars, or Caramel at Bellagio

                  Saturday
-Pure at Caesars, or Jet at Mirage

                  Sunday
                  -The Bank at Bellagio

Thanks guys! Just got a little stressed with all people forwarding me the air itineraries in the last week.

Is V-Bar host the same as the Tao/Lavo Host? I have seem that person post, and will get in touch with them.

The issue with bottle service for a group this large, is different economic situations... I'll see what the best deals that are available, and try to move forward with them.

                    MikeyT...

By PURE wouldn't be a bad club, do you mean the vibe would work, but it might not be that great of a crowd?

The host is different, but Donnie may know.

Regarding BS, if you get 4 bottles, which roughly cost you $2k, maybe a little more and divide that by 12guys, it will come out to be under $200pp.

Regarding PURE, its a pretty big club and it's inside Ceasar's. It's not really a forum favorite and has seen it's better days in the past. Having said that, you will be going on a Saturday, so all clubs will be popping and a good time will be had. My personal preference for Sat night would be to go to Tryst.

Well I think I have found back up plans... these wristbands at wanttickets.com or vegas.com might be a good idea for this situation.

When you go pick up the tickets, does everyone have to show up, or only the person whose credit card was charged and bought the tickets?

So far heard back from PURE host... gave me 4 bottles min + 20% + 8%

So I'll see what I get back from these other hosts...

The Palms wristbands via wantickets has had the most reported success by members. The Tao wristbands have also been mentioned to work really well. Others I would be more wary of.

As for who picks them up- Palms - you get them from the stuff store AND each individual has to pick up their own. If you ordered online in a group, gotta go get them together. Everyone gets IDed before getting a wristband.

Does V-Bar have like a cover or a line...

or is it like a normal hotel bar...

I'm actually thinking of moving the entire lodging from Caesars to Venetian/Palazzo...

                            V-Bar.

Tao - Lavo wristband solution seems like a really good back up plan.

but was at Surrender 3 months ago, that place was pretty sick..

If you are moving from Caesar to Venetian you won't pay at V -Bar, which 95% of the times does not have a line and if you are not local and are not staying at the Venetian, you will have to pay, unless you work something out with a host there and manage to get in free since you have 13 women supposedly. You are coming in December so everything is easier than say June July and August.

V-Bar, just Google it, its a tiny club-looking bar. I don't know if you are looking for something chill just say to have some drinks and chat, or somewhere where you can also dance, but I mean, instead of V-Bar you can try Ghostbar at Palms or Mix at Mandalay Bay, at least you have a super nice view, especially at Mix. Paying for paying, might as well and if you call the hosts from the Colton's list you can prob get a guestlist and get in free (pretty damn sure actually). Not to mention that you can split some bottles at MIX with the 9 guys and man, EASY lower than 100 each. EASY. And Google it. You'll see what I mean by view. If you just want to chill and drink I suggest Parasol Up/Down at the Wynn. Its a super chill bar, nice atmosphere and drinks are great.

The group isn't that bad man, and 13 girls and 9 guys, in December, is easily workable to get on guestlists. My suggestions for Saturday and Sunday are the following. Sat at Tryst or Tao/Lavo... EASY to get guestlisted and you will have to wait a little in line but no pay and depending on how many women you got on Sunday, XS, obvious choice and if its 1-1 ratio, line at XS moves fast, its December so... and you won't have to pay. I also suggest to tip the host (not promoter) that got you the guestlist, if you have the chance, of course.

Crowd wise, best crowds IMO are Surrender, XS, Tryst, Tao, Lavo. Pure... mmmmm not anymore. Same with The Bank.
